 ಶ್ರೀರಾಮಾಯನಮ:

ಶ್ರೀರಾಮಾಯಣ ಹಕ್ಕಿನೋಟ -೨೦೧

ದೇವತೆಗಳಾದಿಯಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಬಂದಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಸೀತೆಯು ಕೈಜೋಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ತಲೆತಗ್ಗಿಸಿ-

ಮನಸಾ ಕರ್ಮಣಾ ವಾಚಾ

ಯಥಾ ರಾಮಂ ಸಮರ್ಚಯೇ

ತಥಾ ಮೇ ಮಾಧವೀ ದೇವೀ

ವಿವರಂ ದಾತುಮರ್ಹತಿ|| 

ಮನಸ್ಸು ಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಂದ ನಾನು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ರಾಮನನ್ನು ಅರ್ಚಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದುದು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾದರೆ ಮಾಧವನ ಪತ್ನಿಯಾದ ಭೂದೇವಿಯು ತನ್ನ ಗರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೆ ಸ್ಥಾನ ನೀಡಲಿ.

ನಾನು ರಘುನಂದನನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು  ಬೇರೆ ಯಾರನ್ನೂ ಕೂಡ ಚಿಂತಿಸನೆಂಬುದು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ,

ಶ್ರೀರಾಮನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಬೇರೆ ಯಾರನ್ನೂ ನಾನರಿಯೆ ಎಂಬ ಈ ನನ್ನ ಮಾತು  ಸತ್ಯವೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಭೂದೇವಿ ಮಾಧವಿಯು ತನ್ನ ರಂಧ್ರವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಆಶ್ರಯಸ್ಥಾನವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಡಲಿ- ಎಂದು ಶಪಥ ಮಾಡಿದಳು.

ರಾಮನಿಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದ,ಆದರೆ ಜನತೆಗೆ ಬೇಡದ,ಅದರಿಂದಾಗಿ ರಾಜಾರಾಮನಿಗೆ ಬೇಡವಾದ ಸೀತೆಯನ್ನು ತಾಯಿ ಭೂದೇವಿ ಅಪ್ಪಿದಳು.

ತನ್ನ ಮಗಳು ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಲೋಕಾಪವಾದದ  ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೊಳಪಡುವುದು ಬೇಡ,ಅದರಿಂದಾಗಿ ರಾಮ ದುಃಖಕ್ಕೊಳಗಾಗುವುದು ಬೇಡವೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ - ಭೂಮಿಯಿಂದ  ಅದ್ಭುತ-ದಿವ್ಯ- ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವಾದ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನವು ಮೂಡಿಬಂತು.ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸೀನಳಾಗಿದ್ದ ಭೂದೇವಿಯು ಸೀತಾದೇವಿಯನ್ನು ಬಾಚಿ ತಬ್ಬಿಕೊಂಡು ಸ್ವಾಗತ ಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ  ಸೀತಾದೇವಿಯನ್ನು ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳ್ಳಿರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಳು.ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ನೋಡನೋಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆಯೇ ಸೀತಾದೇವಿಯು ರಸಾತಳವನ್ನು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದಳು.

ದೇವತೆಗಳು ಸೀತೆಯ ಶೀಲವನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಎಡೆಬಿಡದೆ ಹೂಮಳೆಗರೆದರು. 

ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನೆರೆದಿದ್ದವರಿಗೆ ಏಕಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಹರ್ಷ ಶೋಕಗಳ ಅನುಭವ!

ಸೀತಾರಾಮ! 

ಪ್ರಜಾವತ್ಸಲ ರಾಜಾರಾಮ!?

Seetha seeing the Gods who had arrived there, bended her head down and joined her palms together with respect and said -

"Manasa karmanaa vaacha

yatha Ramam samrchaye

thathaa me maadhavee devee

vivaram daathumaharthi ||

Which means, 

" If it is certainly true that I have always been offering to Rama by the mind, deed and words then let the wife of Maadhava the mother earth grant me the place in her womb.

If it proves true that I will never ever think about anyone except Raghunandana and if my words become true that I do not know anyone else except ShriRama then let the mother earth Maadhavi provide me place in her as shelter " - Seetha affirmed the oath in this way. 

The mother earth embraced Seetha whom Rama needed, but whom the people did not need which made Rajarama abandon her.

The phenomenal - divine and the finest throne emerged from the earth which seemed as if her daughter should not be the victim of another blame by the society, and because of that Rama should not be subjected to the suffering. The goddess of the earth who was sitting on the throne welcomed Seethadevi cordially by embracing her and took her in the throne. As everyone was watching Seethadevi entered the subterranean region. 

The Gods showered flowers upon Seetha by praising her chastity. 

The people who had gathered there experienced both bliss and grief simultaneously !
