ರಾಮಾಯಣ ಹಕ್ಕಿನೋಟ-೧೮೨

 ರಾಮ ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮನಾದರೂ ತನ್ನ ಗೆಳೆಯರೊಡನೆ ಪಟ್ಟಾಂಗ ಹೊಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ.ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ  ಹಾಸ್ಯ ಹರಟೆ ವಿನೋದ...ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸೇರುತ್ತಿದ್ದವು.

ಸೀತೆಗೆ ನಾಳೆಯೇ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಋಷಿಗಳ ಆಶ್ರಮಗಳಿಗೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆಂದು ಮಾತು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಬಳಿಕ  ರಾಮ  ಗೆಳೆಯರೊಡನೆ ಹರಟೆಗೆ ತೊಡಗಿದ. ಅದು ಇದು ವಿಷಯಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ತನ್ನ ಆಡಳಿತ,ಜನರು ಯಾವ ವಿಶೇಷವಾದ ಕತೆಯನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಆಡುತ್ತಾರೆ,ತನ್ನ- ಸೀತೆಯ- ಸೋದರರ -ತಾಯಂದಿರ ಕುರಿತು ಯಾವ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವರು...ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದ. 

ರಾಮನ ಗೆಳೆಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬ  ಭದ್ರ.ಅವನು ಕೈಮುಗಿದು- ನಿನ್ನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ, ರಾವಣವಧೆಯ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ, ಜನರು ಪ್ರಶಂಸಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ- ಎಂದು ಮಾತು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದನು.

ಆಗ ರಾಮ- ಜನರಾಡುವ ಹಿತ- ಅಹಿತ,ಶುಭ -ಅಶುಭ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಯಥಾವತ್ತಾಗಿ ಹೇಳು.ಒಳಿತನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರೆಸಿ ಕೆಡುಕನ್ನು ಬಿಡಲು ಅನಕೂಲವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ಬಿಡದೆ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಹೇಳು-ಎಂದನು. 

ಆಗ ಭದ್ರನು ವಿನೀತನಾಗಿ-

"ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಯಾರೂ ಮಾಡಿರದ; ಮುಂದೆ ಯಾರೂ ಮಾಡದ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀರಾಮ ಸಮುದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇತುವೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿ ದೇವ ದಾನವರುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಗ್ಗುಬಡಿದ ರಾವಣನನ್ನು ಆತನ ಸೈನ್ಯದೊಡನೆ ಕೊಂದು ಸೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಮರಳಿ ಪಡೆದನು.ಋಕ್ಷ ವಾನರ ರಾಕ್ಷಸರು ರಾಮನಿಗೆ ಅಧೀನರಾದರು.ಆದರೆ ಇಲ್ಲೊಂದು ದೋಷವಿದೆ.

ರಾವಣನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು ಸೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಕರೆತಂದ ರಾಮನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸೀತೆಯ ಚಾರಿತ್ರ್ಯದ  ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಕೋಪವಾಗಲೀ ಸಂದೇಹವಾಗಲೀ ಉಂಟಾಗಲೇ ಇಲ್ಲ!!ಸೀತಾಸಮಾಗಮದಿಂದ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಎಂತಹ ಸುಖ ಸಿಕ್ಕೀತು? 

ರಾವಣನಾದರೋ ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ ಸೀತೆಯನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ತೊಡೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳ್ಳಿರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಅಪಹರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಲಂಕೆಗೆ ಹೋದನು.

ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅಶೋಕವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹುದಿನಗಳವರೆಗೆ ರಾಕ್ಷಸರ ವಶದಲ್ಲೇ ಸೀತೆ  ಇದ್ದಳು.

ಅಂತಹವಳನ್ನು 

ಶ್ರೀರಾಮನೇಕೆ ನಿಂದೆಗೆ ಒಳಪಡಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ?

ಈಗ ನಮ್ಮ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲೂ ನಾವು ಅಂಥಾದ್ದನ್ನು ಸಹಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ರಾಜನು ಮಾಡಿದಂತೆ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳೂ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ" ಹೀಗೆ ನಗರ- ಹಳ್ಳಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಜನರು ಅನೇಕ ಪ್ರಕಾರವಾಗಿ ಮಾತಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ  ಎಂದನು.

ಇದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಶ್ರೀರಾಮನು ತುಂಬಾ ದುಃಖಿತನಾದನು.

ಉಳಿದ ಗೆಳೆಯರೊಡನೆ ಕೇಳಲು ಅವರೂ ಭದ್ರನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಜನರಾಡುವ  ಮಾತುಗಳು ನಿಜ ಎಂದರು.

ರಾಮ ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಅವರವರ ಮನೆಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಒಂದು ನಿರ್ಧಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ದ್ವಾರಪಾಲಕನಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋದರರಾದ ಭರತ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣ ಶತ್ರುಘ್ನರನ್ನು ಬೇಗನೇ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬರಲು ಆದೇಶಿಸಿದ.

Though Rama was an emperor, he used to chatter with his friends, which included everything such as humor, chit-chat and amusement.

Rama got busy in the chit-chat with his friends after promising Seetha that he would make arrangements to take her to the hermitage of the sage the very next day. While conversing with his friends, he asked them which story people did speak specially about his administration and what opinions people had about Seetha - his siblings - the mothers and himself.

Bhadra was one among Rama's friends. With his folded palms, he said that people appreciate Rama in the matter of slaying Ravana. After conveying this far he cut himself short. During the time Rama told him to say everything good - bad and auspicious - inauspicious words that people spoke, without altering them and without missing out anything ,so that it would help to continue the good and to remove the evil.

During the time Bhadra being humble states -

" ShreeRama obtained Seetha back, by building the bridge to the sea which was not done by anyone earlier and which would not be done by anyone and by slaying Ravana who had defeated even the gods, along with his army. Yakshas, monkeys and monsters became subordinators of Rama. But there is a blemish here.

Neither anger nor any doubts ever arose in Rama about the conduct of Seetha after bringing her back by slaying Ravana !! What kind of a pleasure will Rama get from the union with Seetha ?

Ravana took away Seetha forcibly by placing her on his thigh and went to Lanka by abducting her. And she was there in 'Ashoka Vana ' under the control of the monsters for so many days.

Why did not Rama subject such a woman to defamation ?

And now we all should endure the same circumstance in the case of our wives too. The citizens too do the same as the king does " - Bhadra said that this was how people in the villages were talking in so many ways.

ShreeRama was hit by grief after hearing these words.

When he enquired his other friends, they too said that whatever Bhadra had uttered about the opinions of the people was true.

Rama sent all of them to their houses. After making a firm decision, he commanded the doorkeeper to ask his brothers Bharatha, Lakshmana and Shatrughna to see him immediately.
