ಶ್ರೀರಾಮಾಯಣ ಹಕ್ಕಿನೋಟ-೧೫೨

ವಿಭೀಷಣನೂ ರಾಮ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಸದಸ್ಯನಾದ!

ರಾಮ ರಾವಣರು ಮತ್ತೆ ಎದುರಾದರು.ರಾಮ ನೆಲದಲ್ಲಿ, ರಾವಣ ರಥದಲ್ಲಿ!ಈ ಅಸಮತೋಲಿತ ಯುದ್ಧವನ್ನು ದೇವತೆಗಳು ಒಪ್ಪಲಿಲ್ಲ. ದೇವೇಂದ್ರನ ಗಮನಕ್ಕೆ  ತಂದಾಗ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ರಥ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾರಥಿ ಮಾತಲಿಯನ್ನು ರಾಮನ ನೆರವಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.ಇಂದ್ರನ ಸಾರಥಿ  ಹಸಿರು ಬಣ್ಣದ ಕುದುರೆಗಳುಳ್ಳ ರಥದೊಂದಿಗೆ ರಾಮನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಕರ್ತವ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಜರಾದನು.ರಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ಮಹಾಧನುಸ್ಸು,

ಕವಚ,ಬಾಣಗಳು,ಶಕ್ತ್ಯಾಯುಧ..ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಲು ವಿನಂತಿಸಿದನು.

ರಾಮ ರಥವೇರಿದ.ಗೆಲುವಿನ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಲೇರಿದ!

ರಾಮ ರಾವಣರು ಅಸ್ತ್ರ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಸ್ತ್ರಗಳ ವಿನಿಮಯವನ್ನು ಭರ್ಜರಿಯಾಗಿ ಮಾಡತೊಡಗಿದರು.ಗಾಂಧರ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ದೈವಾಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ಆಯಾ ಅಸ್ತ್ರಗಳಿಂದಲೇ ಎದುರಿಸಿದರು. ರಾವಣನು ಎಸೆದ-

ಸರ್ಪಾಸ್ತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ -ಗಾರುಡಾಸ್ತ್ರ

ರಾಕ್ಷಸಾಸ್ತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ -ಗಾರುಡಾಸ್ತ್ರ

ಶೂಲಾಯುಧ -ಶಕ್ತ್ಯಾಯುಧ.. ಹೀಗೆ ಎದುರಿಸಿ ಖಂಡಿಸಿ  ರಾವಣನ ಸಹನೆಯನ್ನು ಕೆಣಕಿದನು.

ಇಬ್ಬರ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಭಾರೀ ಕದನ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಇಬ್ಬರ ಮೈಯಲ್ಲೂ ನೆತ್ತರಿನ ಧಾರೆ! ಕ್ಷಣ ಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕೂ ರಾಮನ ಕೋಪ ಏರತೊಡಗಿತು. ಬಾಣದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತಿನಿಂದಲೂ ರಾವಣನನ್ನು ಚುಚ್ಚತೊಡಗಿದ!

ನಾನಿಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದಾಗ ನನ್ನ ಸತಿಯನ್ನು ಕದ್ದೊಯ್ದ ನೀನು ಎಂತಹ ಶೂರ?

ಪರಸತಿಯರನ್ನು ಅವರಿಚ್ಛೆಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿ ಮುಟ್ಟುವ ನೀನೆಂತಹ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಿ?

ಲಜ್ಜೆ ನಾಚಿಕೆ ಮಾನ ಮರ್ಯಾದೆ ಇಲ್ಲದ ನೀನು ಮಹಾಶೂರನೇ?

ಎಂದು ಮುಂತಾಗಿ ಹಂಗಿಸಿದ.ಆದರೆ ಮೂರೂ ಬಿಟ್ಟವನಿಗೆ ಇದು ಯಾವ ಲೆಕ್ಕ??

ರಾಮನ ಮಾತು ಬಾಣಗಳೇಟಿಗೆ ರಾವಣನು ನಿರುತ್ತರನಾದನು. ಇದನ್ನು ಸಾರಥಿಯು 'ರಾವಣನು ಬಳಲಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು 'ತಪ್ಪಾಗಿ ಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ರಣರಂಗದಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೊಯ್ದನು.ಆಗ ರಾವಣನಿಗೆ ಅತಿಯಾದ ಕೋಪ ಬಂದು ಸಾರಥಿಗೆ ಬೈದು ರಥವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೆ ರಣರಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ಒಯ್ಯಲು ಹೇಳಿದ. ಯುದ್ಧ ಆರಂಭವಾಯಿತು. 

ದೇವತೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಯುದ್ಧ ನೋಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಅಗಸ್ತ್ಯ ಮಹರ್ಷಿಗಳು ಶ್ರೀರಾಮನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು- ಹೇ ಮಹಾಬಾಹು,ರಾಮ! ನಾನು  ನಿನಗೆ ಪರಮಪಾವನವಾದ  ಆದಿತ್ಯಹೃದಯ ಮಂತ್ರವನ್ನು  ಉಪದೇಶಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ,ಇದನ್ನು ಪಠೆಸುವುದರಿಂದ ನಿನಗೆ ಗೆಲುವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ-ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾ ಆದಿತ್ಯಹೃದಯವನ್ನು  ಉಪದೇಶಿಸಿ ವಿಜಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹರಸಿ ತೆರಳಿದರು.ರಾಮನು ಅಗಸ್ತ್ಯರ ಆದೇಶವನ್ನು ಪಾಲಿಸಿ  ಶೋಕಮುಕ್ತನಾಗಿ ಹೊಸಹುರುಪಿನಿಂದ ಮರಳಿ  ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿದ್ಧನಾದ.

Vibhishana too became the member of Rama's family !

Rama and Ravana confronted each other again. Rama on the ground, Ravana in the chariot ! But the Gods did not agree for this war of imbalance. When this was brought into the notice of Devendra ,he sent his chariot and the charioteer Maathali for the assistance of Rama. The charioteer of Indra came to Rama and joined himself for the duty with the chariot which had the green horses . He pleaded Rama to accept everything which was there in the chariot such as the great bow ( Mahaa Dhanus) ,armour, arrows, Shaktyayudha. 

Rama climbed the chariot. Climbed the another step of the victory !

Rama and Ravana began to exchange the artilleries in return to each other's artilleries splendidly  . They faced ' Gaandharvaastra ' and 'Devaastra ' with the same artilleries . Rama provoked the patience of Ravana by facing and condemning the artilleries which were sent by Ravana in the following way -

'Gaarudaastra to Sarpaastra,

Gaarudaastra to Raakshasastra ,

Shaktyayudha to Shoolayudha.

The terrible fight took place between the two.

The blood was flowing from their bodies !

The anger of Rama was rising higher and higher for every moment. He began to pierce Ravana with the arrows and also with the words !

Rama humiliating Ravana through questions - 

' What kind of a hero are you who abducted my wife in my absence ' ?

' What kind of a mighty man are you who touches other women against their will ' ?

' Are you the great valiant who doesn't have shame , decorum , manners and dignity ' ?

He taunted Ravana by asking him these questions. But does it matter to the one who has no shame ??

Ravana had no answer for Rama's words and for the whip of his arrows . But this was misunderstood by his charioteer that Ravana was tired and he took the chariot out of the battlefield.  During the time, Ravana's fury crossed all the bounds. He rebuked his charioteer and ordered him take the chariot back to the battlefield. 

The war began. 

Agasthya Maharshi who was witnessing the war along with the Gods came to Rama by addressing him 'Mahaabaahu Rama ' !

He told Rama that he would preach him the most sacred hymn 'Aditya Hrudaya', and said that he would be triumphant by chanting the hymn. By saying this Agasthya Maharshi preached Rama the hymn ' Aditya Hrudaya ' and went back after blessing Rama for the victory.  Rama, by following the command of Agasthya and being free from all the grief, got ready for the battle again with new enthusiasm.
