ಶ್ರೀರಾಮಾಯಣ ಹಕ್ಕಿನೋಟ-೧೫೩

ಗಗನಂ ಗಗನಾಕಾರಂ

ಸಾಗರ: ಸಾಗರೋಪಮ:|

ರಾಮರಾವಣಯೋರ್ಯುದ್ಧಂ

ರಾಮರಾವಣಯೋರಿವ||

" ಗಗನವು ಗಗನದಂತಿದೆ,

ಸಾಗರವು ಸಾಗರದಂತಿದೆ.

ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ರಾಮ ರಾವಣರ ಯುದ್ಧವು ರಾಮ ರಾವಣರ ಯುದ್ಧದಂತೆಯೇ ಇದೆ!"

ಇದು ಗಗನದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆರೆದು ರಾಮ  ರಾವಣರ ಯುದ್ಧವನ್ನು ನೋಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ದೇವಾನುದೇವತೆಗಳ,ಗಂಧರ್ವ ಅಪ್ಸರೆಯರ ಉದ್ಗಾರ!!

'ಮಾಡು ಇಲ್ಲವೇ ಮಡಿ ' ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಕಣ್ಣಾರೆ ಕಾಣುವಂತಿತ್ತು.

ಗೆಲುವಿಗಾಗಿ ರಾಮ,

ಮಡಿಯುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ರಾವಣನು ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. 

ಇಬ್ಬರೂ ಶಕುನಗಳ ಶುಭಾಶುಭಗಳನ್ನು- ಪರಿಣಾಮಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದರು.

ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು ಹೊತ್ತು  ಇಬ್ಬರೂ ಸಮಬಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋರಾಡಿದರು. 

ರಾಮ ಹರಿತವಾದ ಬಾಣದಿಂದ ಕೊನೆಗೂ ರಾವಣನ ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ಕತ್ತರಿಸಿದ! ಆದರೇನು? ಮತ್ತೆ ತಲೆ ಚಿಗುರಿತು! ಈ ರೀತಿ ನೂರು ಬಾರಿ ಮಾಡಿದರೂ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲ ಒಂದೇ!! ಚಿಂತಿತ ರಾಮನಿಗೆ ದೇವಸಾರಥಿ ಮಾತಲಿ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಯೋಗಿಸಲು ಸಲಹೆಯನ್ನಿತ್ತನು.

ರಾಮನು ಅಗಸ್ತ್ಯರಿಂದ ನೀಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ದಿವ್ಯಾಸ್ತ್ರವೊಂದನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ಅಭಿಮಂತ್ರಿಸಿ ಬಿಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೂಡಿದನು.ಎದುರಿಸಲು ಅಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಆ ಮಹಾಸ್ತ್ರವು ರಾವಣನ ಎದೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಕ್ಕು ಹರಣ ಹೀರಿ ಹೊರ ಬಂದು ಮತ್ತೆ ರಾಮ ಬತ್ತಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಸೇರಿತು! ರಾಮಬಾಣ!!  ರಾವಣನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಬಿಲ್ಲು ಜಾರಿತು,ಅಸುನೀಗಿ ರಥದಿಂದ ಕೆಳಕ್ಕುರುಳಿದನು.

ರಕ್ಕಸರು ದಿಕ್ಕೆಟ್ಟು ಓಡಿದರು.ವಾನರವೀರರು, ದೇವತೆಗಳು,ಗಂಧರ್ವರು, ಅಪ್ಸರೆಯರು, ಋಷಿಗಳು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಪರಮಾನಂದವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದರು.

'ಸಾಧು ರಾಘವ ಸಾಧು'ಎಂದು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ರಾಮನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿದರು.ಪೂಜಿಸಿದರು.

ಸತ್ತು ಬಿದ್ದ ಅಣ್ಣ! ಅಣ್ಣನ ಗತವೈಭವ ವಿಭೀಷಣನ ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಕಾಣತೊಡಗಿತು!ಅಣ್ಣನ ಶವವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ವಿಭೀಷಣನು ತಮ್ಮನಾದ.ದುರಂತವನ್ನು ನೆನೆನೆನೆದು ನೊಂದು ಅಳತೊಡಗಿದ.

ಹೇಗಿದ್ದವ ಹೇಗಾದ!! ಬಹುವಾಗಿ ನೊಂದು ಅಣ್ಣನಿಗಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮನಾಗಿ ಅತ್ತ! ರಾಮ ವಿಭೀಷಣನಲ್ಲಿ ರಾವಣನ ಗುಣಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾ ಶೋಕಿಸದಿರಲು ಹೇಳಿದ.

"ಮರಣಾನ್ತಾನಿ ವೈರಾಣಿ

ನಿವೃತ್ತಂ ನ: ಪ್ರಯೋಜನಮ್|

ಕ್ರಿಯತಾಮಸ್ಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರೋ

ಮಮಾಪ್ಯೇಷ ಯಥಾ ತವ||

ವಿಭೀಷಣ,ಸಾಯುವ ವರೆಗೆ ವೈರವೆಂಬುದಿರುತ್ತದೆ.ಸಾವಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅದೂ ಸಾಯುತ್ತದೆ.ನಮ್ಮ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನೆರವೇರಿತು.ಈಗ ನಿನಗೆ ರಾವಣನೆಂತೋ ನನಗೂ ಹಾಗೇ. ಅಂತ್ಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರವನ್ನು ಯಥಾವಿಧಿಯಾಗಿ ಮಾಡು"- ಎಂದು ರಾಮ ವಿಭೀಷಣನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿದ.

Which means, 

"The sky is like the sky,

 The sea is like the sea.

Similarly the war of Rama and Ravana is like the war of Rama and Ravana ! "

This was exclaimed by the Gods, celestial beings, nymphs who were witnessing the war of Rama and Ravana by gathering in the sky !!

'Do or Die ' was seen live there. 

Rama was fighting for the victory, 

Ravana was fighting to be dead.

The both knew the consequences of the good and evil of the omens .

The both fought in the equal force for a long time. Finally Rama cut the head off of Ravana with a sharp sword ! So what ? The head got rejuvenated again ! If this was done even for the 100 times, the result would be the same !! The godly charioteer Maathali suggested Rama who was worried to try out ' Brahmaastra ' .

Rama took out the finest artillery which was given by Agasthya and he prayed that to Brahmaastra and then inserted the artillery to Bow. The greatest artillery which was impossible to be confronted,entered the chest of Ravana and after coming out by piercing and sucking the heart of Ravana, it congregated the quiver ! Ramabaana !! (The arrow of Rama).

The bow rolled down from the hands of Ravana, he fell down dead from the chariot. 

The monsters ran being scattered. The monkey warriors , Gods, celestial beings, nymphs, saints everyone was overjoyed and in the state of elation. 

They all praised Rama as ' Sadhu Raghava Saadhu ' and worshipped him.

The brother who fell dead ! The past glory of the elder brother haunted Vibhishana ! Vibhishana became the younger brother seeing the corpse of his brother. He began to weep and lament remembering the mishaps that had happened. 

How he was and how he became !! He wept being the younger brother for the elder brother out of unbearable pain and grief !

Rama told Vibhishana not to weep by mentioning the attributes of Ravana. 

"Maranaanaanthini Vairaani

nivrutham na : Prayojanam !

Kriyathaamasya samskaaro

Mamaaphyesha yadha thava II

Rama says addressing Vibhishana that -

" Animosity will be there till the death. It dies along with the death. Our duty has fulfilled. Ravana is the same for me as how he is for you. Perform the funeral rights according to the procedure ".
