ಶ್ರೀರಾಮಾಯಣ ಹಕ್ಕಿನೋಟ-೮೦

ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ಪತ್ನಿಯನ್ನೂ ಕಳಕೊಂಡ ರಾಮ ಸುಗ್ರೀವರು ಹನುಮನಿಂದಾಗಿ ಗೆಳೆಯರಾದರು.ರಾಮ ಕಾಡುಪಾಲಾಗಿ ಇಲ್ಲಿಯ ತನಕ ಬಂದಿರುವ ಕಾರಣಗಳನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣ ಹನುಮನಿಗೆ,ಹನುಮ ಸುಗ್ರೀವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದರೆ ಸುಗ್ರೀವನ ನೋವನ್ನು ಹನುಮ ಸುಗ್ರೀವರು ರಾಮಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದರು.ಅಗ್ನಿಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿ ರಾಮ ಸುಗ್ರೀವರು ಮಿತ್ರರಾದರು! ಅವರ ಗಾಢ ಸ್ನೇಹಕ್ಕೆ ಸುಗ್ರೀವನ-

" ತ್ವಾಂ ವಯಸ್ಯೋsಸಿ ಮೇ ಹೃದ್ಯೋ ಹ್ಯೇಕಂ

 ದುಃಖಂ ಸುಖಂ ಚ ನೌ"- ರಾಘವಾ, ನಿನ್ನ ಸುಖ ದುಃಖಗಳು ನನ್ನ ಸುಖ ದುಃಖಗಳೆಂದೂ, ನನ್ನ ಸುಖ ದುಃಖಗಳು ನಿನ್ನ ಸುಖ ದುಃಖಗಳೆಂದೂ ಭಾವಿಸೋಣ- ಎಂಬ ಮಾತು ಧಾರಾಳ ಸಾಕು.

ಈ ಹೊತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸೀತೆಯ ಎಡಗಣ್ಣು ಮಿಡಿದು ಶುಭ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದರೆ,ವಾಲಿ ರಾವಣರ ಎಡಗಣ್ಣುಗಳೂ ಮಿಡಿದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅಶುಭ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದವು- ಎಂದು ವಾಲ್ಮೀಕಿ ಮಹರ್ಷಿಗಳು ವರ್ಣಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. 

ಸುಗ್ರೀವನು ರಾವಣನು ಸೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಕದ್ದೊಯ್ದುಕೊಂಡು ಆಗಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದುದನ್ನು ತಾನು ತನ್ನ ನಾಲ್ವರು ಅನುಚರರೊಡನೆ ನೋಡಿದುದಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾ ಸೀತೆಯು ಎಸೆದ ಉತ್ತರೀಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೆಲವು ಆಭರಣಗಳನ್ನು ರಾಮನಿಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿದನು.ರಾಮನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಅಳಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿದನು.ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣನಿಗೂ ಗುರುತಿಸಲು ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅವನು- ಅಣ್ಣಾ! ಅತ್ತಿಗೆಯ ತೋಳ್ಬಳೆ- ಕುಂಡಲಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ಕಂಡವನೇ ಅಲ್ಲ!ನಿತ್ಯವೂ ನಾನು ಆಕೆಯ ಕಾಲಿಗೆ ನಮಸ್ಕಾರ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಕಾರಣ ಅವಳ ಕಾಲಂದುಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಬಲ್ಲೆ!- ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ತಾನು ಸೀತೆಯನ್ನು (ಪರಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರನ್ನು) ಪೂಜ್ಯ ಭಾವನೆಯಿಂದ ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದುದನ್ನು ಪರೋಕ್ಷವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದನು.( ಇಂತಹ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣನನ್ನು ಸೀತೆ ಕೆಟ್ಟದಾಗಿ ಬೈದಾಗ ಅವನಿಗಾದ ನೋವು ಎಷ್ಟಿರಬಹುದು!!?) ಶ್ರೀರಾಮನನ್ನು ಸುಗ್ರೀವನು ಸಮಾಧಾನಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಸೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿ ತರುವ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು.ರಾಮನೂ 'ಎಲ್ಲಕ್ಕೂ ಮೊದಲಾಗಿ ವಾಲಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು ಸುಗ್ರೀವನಿಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಪತ್ನಿಯನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ' ಮಾತನ್ನಿತ್ತನು.

Rama and Sugreeva who had lost their wives and the kingdoms became friends because of Hanumaan. If Hanumaan had narrated the story which Lakshmana had told him about the reason why Rama had come so far being the part of the forest, then Hanumaan and Sugreeva explained the grief of Sugreeva to Rama and Lakshmana. Rama and Sugreeva became friends with fire as a witness! The words of Sugreeva were more than enough for their deep rooted friendship. Where he says,

" Thwaam Vayasyoseesi me hrudyo hyekam

dukham Sukham cha nau".

Which means, " Raghava, let us assume, your sorrow and happiness are my sorrow and happiness,  and my sorrow and happiness are your sorrow and happiness ".

During the same time, the left eye of Seetha throbbed which was the indication of the good omens and on the other hand, the left eyes of Vaali and Raavana throbbed which was the indication of bad omens - This is how Valmiki Maharshi describes. 

Sugreeva told Rama that he along with his four followers had witnessed Seetha was being carried away by Raavana in the sky. Then he showed Rama a few garments and jewels which were thrown by Seetha. Rama identified them and began to sob looking at them. When he asked Lakshmana to recognize them he said that, he had never seen the arm accessories and ear rings of his sister in law. But he could recognize her anklets since he used to fall to her feet everyday. He indirectly said that he had always looked at Seetha or any other woman with great respect and reverence. ( What might be the extremity of the pain of Lakshmana then when Seetha rebuked him with harsh words?) Sugreeva consoled ShriRama and assured him of finding and getting Seetha back. More than that,  Rama promised and assured Sugreeva that he would get him his wife and kingdom by killing Vaali.
