ಶ್ರೀರಾಮಾಯಣ ಹಕ್ಕಿನೋಟ-೬೭

ಆಡಳಿತ ನಡೆಸುವವರು ತಮ್ಮ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಕಡೆಗೂ ಗಮನ ಹರಿಸದಿದ್ದರೆ ಏನಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎನ್ನುವುದನ್ನು ಇಬ್ಬರು ತಮ್ಮದೇ ಆದ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಳುವವರಿಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ರಾಮನನ್ನು ಕರೆದು ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದ ವಿಶ್ವಾಮಿತ್ರರು ಅವನ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಕ್ಷಸರಿಂದಾಗುವ ಉಪಟಳವನ್ನು ಕಣ್ಣಾರೆಯಾಗಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಸೂಕ್ತ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.ಹಾದಿ ತಪ್ಪಿದ ತಾಟಕಿ ಮಾರೀಚಾದಿ ರಾಕ್ಷಸರು, ಶೋಷಣೆಗೊಳಗಾದ ತಪಸ್ವಿಗಳು... ಇವೆಲ್ಲವೂ ರಾಮನ ಗಮನಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ವಿಶ್ವಾಮಿತ್ರರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಸೂಕ್ತ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಂಡನು.ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಹಲ್ಯಾ ಪ್ರಕರಣವನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದೇನೋ!?

ಇತ್ತ ಶೂರ್ಪನಖಿಯು ತನ್ನ ಕಾಮಾಸಕ್ತಿಗಾದ ಭಂಗವನ್ನೇ ತನಗಾದ ಮಾನಭಂಗವೆಂದು ಚಿತ್ರಿಸಿ ಅದು ರಾಕ್ಷಸ ಕುಲಕ್ಕೇ ಆದ ಅವಮಾನವೆಂದು ಖರ,ರಾವಣರಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿ ಅವರ ದಾರಿ ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಮಾಡಿದಳು.ರಾವಣನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳುವಾಗ ನೀನು ರಾಜ್ಯಾಡಳಿತದಲ್ಲಿ ಸರಿಯಾದ ಗಮನ ಕೊಡದೆ ವೈರಿಗಳು ಜನಸ್ಥಾನವನ್ನು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವಂತಾಯಿತು ಎಂದು ಮೂದಲಿಸಿ ಆರೋಪಿಸಿದಳು.

ವೃದ್ಧಾಪ್ಯದಿಂದಾಗಿ ದಶರಥನು ವಿಫಲನಾದರೆ,ವಿಲಾಸೀ ಜೀವನದಿಂದಾಗಿ ರಾವಣನು ವಿಫಲನಾದನು(ಶೂರ್ಪನಖಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ).

ಜನಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಮನು ನಡೆಸಿದ ರಾಕ್ಷಸ ಸಂಹಾರದ ಸಾಹಸದ ಸುದ್ದಿಯನ್ನು ಅಕಂಪನನು ಮೊದಲಾಗಿ ಲಂಕೆಗೆ ತೆರಳಿ ರಾವಣನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು.ಅವನನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆಂದು ಹೊರಟ ರಾವಣನಿಗೆ ರಾಮನ ಏಕಾಂಗಿಯಾದ ಸಾಹಸ, ಅಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಶೂರತನ,ಅಜೇಯತ್ವಗಳನ್ನು ವರ್ಣಿಸಿ ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಸೋಲಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಮನವರಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು.ಅದರ ಬದಲು ಮೋಸದಿಂದ ಅವನ ಸುಂದರ ಸತಿಯಾದ ಸೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಅಪಹರಿಸಿ ತರುವ ತಂತ್ರವನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅದಕ್ಕೊಪ್ಪಿ ರಾವಣನು ಮಾರೀಚನ ಸಹಾಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋದನು.ಆದರೆ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಒಪ್ಪದ ಮಾರೀಚನು ರಾವಣನಿಗೆ ಬುದ್ಧಿ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿ ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾದನು.

ಲಂಕೆಗೆ ಶೂರ್ಪನಖಿಯ ಪ್ರವೇಶವಾಗಿ ರಾವಣನಿಗೆ ತನ್ನದೇ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜಧರ್ಮವನ್ನು ಬೋಧಿಸಿ ಸೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಅಪಹರಿಸುವುದೇ ತಕ್ಕುದಾದ ಪ್ರತೀಕಾರವೆಂದಾಗ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮ್ಮತಿಸಿ ಮರಳಿ ಸೀತಾಪಹರಣದ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು  ಹೆಣೆದನು.

ಮಂಥರೆಯ ಪರೋಕ್ಷ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಂದ ಕಾಮಾಸಕ್ತ ದಶರಥನು ಕೆಟ್ಟರೆ, ಶೂರ್ಪನಖಿಯ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ರಾವಣ ತಾನು ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದು ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲ ತನ್ನವರ ಸರ್ವನಾಶಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣನಾದನು.ಕಾಮವು ಶೂರ್ಪನಖಿ,ರಾವಣ ಇಬ್ಬರನ್ನೂ ಕೆಡಿಸಿತು.

ಖರನ ಮಾತು ನಿಜವಾಗ ತೊಡಗಿತು.

The two in their own ways presented to the administrators the picture of what might have happen if the administrators pay no attention to the affairs of each and every corner of their states .  Vishwamitra took Rama to his state so that Rama could see the harassment and atrocity of the monsters in his own eyes and made Rama take the proper measures to save everyone from the monsters. Rama came to know about the demons and noticed the demons Thaataki, Maaricha who had been in the path of unrighteousness and the ascetics who had been the victim of their violence. Therefore he took the appropriate measures as per the guidance of Vishwamitra. The incident of Ahalya can be taken here!

On the other hand,  Shoorpanakha was humiliated for her lustful nature. But she presented herself as a victim. She narrated a false story of violation of her chastity .She even deceived and provoked Khara and Raavana by saying that it was  the humiliation of the entire clan of the monsters. While she was talking to Raavana, she blamed him for not paying attention to the state and enmities entered their territory because of his negligence. 

If Dasharatha had failed due to old age then Raavana failed due to his nature of playfulness ( according to Shoorpanakha).

Akampa and many other went to Lanka and conveyed the news of the annihilation of the monsters by Rama which happened in ' Janasthana' to Raavana. Raavana was outraged by the news and decided to slay Rama. But others made him realize that Rama was unconquerable by describing the valor of Rama who fought alone with thousands of monsters. They told Raavana that the audacity of Rama was unmatched and he was unbeatable. But they suggested him a wicked idea to defeat Rama, instead of confronting him directly. They suggested Raavana to abduct Seetha ,the beautiful wife of Rama through a treacherous way. Raavana too agreed for this evil strategy and he went to seek the help of Maaricha in abducting Seetha. But Maaricha denied to help Raavana since he knew the valor of Rama. He advised Raavana to back out from his plan and Maaricha succeeded in convincing and sending Raavana back to Lanka.

But the mind of Raavana was stirred up again when Shoorpanakha entered Lanka. She preached him the duties and responsibilities of a king in her own way and told him that he had to take revenge on Rama and abducting Seetha was the only right revenge he could take. Raavana agreed with her and made a strategy to abduct Seetha again. 

If the lustful Dhasharatha had ruined himself listening to the indirect words of Manthare  then Raavana ruined himself and also became the reason for the ruin of his own people, listening to the direct words of Shoorpanakha. 

Lust ,spoiled both Shoorpanakha and Raavana. 

The words of Khara were being proved true.
