ರಾಮಾಯಣ ಹಕ್ಕಿನೋಟ-೫೧

ರಾಮನ ಇರವಿನ ಸುಳಿವು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿತು.ಹೊಗೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯನ್ನು,ಬೆಂಕಿ ಎಲೆಮನೆಯನ್ನು(ಎಲೆವನೆ) ಎಲೆಮನೆ ಮನೆಯವರನ್ನು ತೋರಿತು.ಭರತನು ರಾಮನು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ ಸಂತಸದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ತಾನು ಹಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾ, ತನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬಂದವರಿಗೆ ಕೂಗಿ ಹೇಳಿ ರಾಮನತ್ತ ಶತ್ರುಘ್ನ ಸುಮಂತ್ರರೊಡನೆ ನಡೆದನು.ವಸಿಷ್ಠರಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಧಾನವಾಗಿ ತಾಯಂದಿರೊಡನೆ ಬರಲು ವಿನಂತಿಸಿದನು.

ಕಡಿದಾದ ದಾರಿ.ದಾರಿ ತಪ್ಪಬಾರದೆಂದು ಅಲ್ಲಲ್ಲಿ ಗುರುತುಗಳು.ಅವನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ಹೋದಾಗ ಪರ್ಣಕುಟಿ,ಹೋಮಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಕುಟೀರ... ಇವುಗಳು ಕಂಡುಬಂದವು.ಮುಂದೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಹೋಮದೆದುರು ದರ್ಭೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ವೀರಾಸನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತ ರಾಮನನ್ನು, ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣನನ್ನೂ ಕಂಡರು.ಭರತನ ನಡೆ ತಪ್ಪತೊಡಗಿತು.ಅಣ್ಣನನ್ನು ಕಾಣುತ್ತಲೇ ಈ ತನಕ ಅನುಭವಿಸಿದ ನೋವು,ಸಂಶಯ, ಅವಮಾನ ಅಸಮಾಧಾನ... ಗಳೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಮೇಲಿಂದ ಮೇಲೆ ದಾಳಿಯಿಡುವಂತೆ ಬಂದು ಕೊನೆಗೆ ಸಹಿಸಲಾರದೆ ರಾಮನ  ಬಳಿ ಆರ್ಯಾ.. ಎಂದು ದೀನ ಸ್ವರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರೆಯುತ್ತಾ ಕುಸಿದು ಪಾದಗಳಿಗೆ ನಮಿಸಿದನು. ಶತ್ರುಘ್ನನೂ ಅಳುತ್ತಳುತ್ತಾ ಅಣ್ಣನ ಚರಣಗಳಿಗೆ ವಂದಿಸಿದನು.ಅರಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿರಬೇಕಾದವರು ಸದ್ಯ ಎಲೆವನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಟ್ಟಾದುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಉಳಿದವರೂ ಕಣ್ಣೀರಾದರು.

ಗುರುತು ಸಿಗದಷ್ಟು ಕೃಶನಾಗಿದ್ದ ಭರತನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ರಾಮನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದೆತ್ತಿ ಆಲಂಗಿಸಿ ಕ್ಷೇಮ ಸಮಾಚಾರರಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದನು.ಅದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ತಂದೆ ತಾಯಂದಿರು, ಗುರುಗಳನ್ನು,ಸಚಿವ- ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರವರ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಕೇಳಿದನು.ಪರೋಕ್ಷವಾಗಿ ಭರತ ಮತ್ತು  ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಇತರರು ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾದ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಸಿ ಕುಶಲ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದನು.ಧರ್ಮ ಅರ್ಥ ಕಾಮ ಮೋಕ್ಷಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಹಿಂದಿನಂತೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆಯೇ ಎಂದು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿದನು.ನಮ್ಮ ವಂಶದ ಹಿರಿಯರು ತುಳಿದ ಸತ್ಪಥದಲ್ಲೇ ನೀನೂ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾ ಇರುವೆಯಲ್ಲಾ!? ಎಂದೂ ಕೇಳಿದನು.

ಭರತ ಏನೆಂದು ಉತ್ತರಿಸಲಿ!!?

Finally Bharatha succeeded in finding the place where Rama was residing in.  The smoke led them to fire, fire directed them to the dwelling of leaves  and the dwelling showed them its people. 

Bharatha was overjoyed when he found Rama. By reproaching himself and calling his army and everyone walked towards Rama along with Shatrughna and Sumantra.  Bharatha was on cloud nine ( very happy). His happiness can not be expressed in words. He requested Vasishta to come slowly with his mothers. They walked in the narrow paths, found land marks here and there which directed them the right way. Following the marks,they reached the place where there was a dwelling of leaves  and a separate cottage for the sacrificial rituals. While they kept moving forward they saw Rama who was sitting on the grass of Dharbe as a king before the sacrificial ritual, Seetha who was sitting beside him and Lakshmana.  Bharatha who was extremely happy to see Rama, became the victim of his grief again. He remembered all the painful incidents that had happened  so far. He was hit by grief, humiliation, dissatisfaction simultaneously. Bharatha, being unable to control his emotions ran to Rama and helplessly called him 'Arya'( man of god) to draw his attention and fell to his feet. Shatrughna too shed tears and fell to the feet of Rama.  The four brothers got united in the forest who were supposed to live together in the palace.  The bonding of these brothers  brought tears in the eyes of others.

Rama embraced Bharatha affectionately who had become so skinny and lost his earlier charm and appearance. Rama enquired the well-being of Bharatha. Then he enquired the well-being of his mothers, Gurus,  Ministers and subjects by mentioning their duties individually.  He also reminded Bharatha and others of the duties which had to be performed by them. He asked if the works related to religion, earthly pleasures, salvation were being performed in Ayodhya as it was going on smoothly earlier.  He further asked Bharatha if he was following the foot steps of their ancestors who had always followed the path of righteousness. 

After listening to Rama, Bharatha :
