ಶ್ರೀರಾಮಾಯಣ ಹಕ್ಕಿನೋಟ-೧೨೯

'ಕಾಲ' ಎಷ್ಟೊಳ್ಳೆಯ ಪದ!

ಹುಟ್ಟು-ಉಳಿವು-ಬೆಳವು- ಅಳಿವು....

ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಕಾಲಾಧೀನ!!

ಉನ್ನತಿಗೆ ಪುರುಷ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಮುಖ್ಯವೆನ್ನುವುದು ನಾವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ವಿಚಾರ. ಆದರೆ ರಾವಣನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಅವನತಿ-ಸಾವುಗಳಿಗೂ ಪುರುಷ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಬೇಕೇ? ಎಂಬ  ವಿಚಾರವೂ ಸುಳಿಯುತ್ತದೆ!

ಇನ್ನೇನು ಯುದ್ಧ ಘೋಷಣೆ ಬಾಕಿ ಎನ್ನುವ ಹೊತ್ತಿಗೆ ರಾವಣನ ತಾಯಿ ಕೈಕಸಿಯು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆ ಮಾಲ್ಯವಂತನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬಂದಳು. ಇಬ್ಬರೂ  ರಾವಣನಲ್ಲಿ  'ಯುದ್ಧ ಬೇಡವೆಂಬುದನ್ನೂ,ಸೀತೆಯನ್ನು ರಾಮನಿಗೆ  ಒಪ್ಪಿಸುವುದೇ ಸೂಕ್ತವೆಂಬುದನ್ನೂ' ತಿಳಿಯ ಹೇಳಿದರು. 

ಆದರೆ ಮರಣಾರ್ಥಿ ರಾವಣನಿಗೆ ಮಾಡುವ- ಕೊಡುವ -ಹೇಳುವ -ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವೆಂಬುದನ್ನು ಅವರೂ ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡರು!

ಲಂಕೆಯ ಸುರಕ್ಷಾ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ತೃಪ್ತನಾದ ರಾವಣನು  ಅಂತ:ಪುರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದನು!

(ದಶರಥನೂ ಅಂತ:ಪುರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದನು!)

ಇತ್ತ ರಾಮನು ಪಕ್ಷಿ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗಿಬಂದ ವಿಭೀಷಣನ ಆಪ್ತರ ಮೂಲಕ ಲಂಕಾನಗರದ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣಾ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದು ಕೊಂಡನು.ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾದ ಚತುರಂಗಬಲದ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡಕೊಂಡನು.ಗಮನಿಸಬೇಕಾದ ವಿಚಾರ-

ರಾವಣನಿಗೆ ತಾನು  ಹೇಳಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೇಳಿದ ಮೇಲೆ  ಮಾಹಿತಿಗಳು ಸಿಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೆ;

ರಾಮನಿಗೆ ಕಾಲಕಾಲಕ್ಕೆ  ಮಾಹಿತಿಗಳು ತಾನಾಗಿಯೇ  ಒದಗಿ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದವು!! ವಿಭೀಷಣನ ಸಲಹೆಯಂತೆ ರಾಮನು-

.•ನೀಲನ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಪೂರ್ವ ದ್ವಾರದಲ್ಲಿ  ಪ್ರಹಸ್ತನನ್ನೆದರಿಸುವ-

•ಅಂಗದನ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ದ್ವಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಾಪಾರ್ಶ್ವನನ್ನೆದುರಿಸುವ-

•ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ದ್ವಾರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ರಕ್ಕಸರನ್ನು ಹನುಮನ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು 

•ಸ್ವತ: ರಾವಣನಿರುವ ಉತ್ತರ ದ್ವಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನದೇ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಳಿಗಿಯುವಂತೆ ಯೋಜಿಸಿ ಯುದ್ಧದ ಘೋಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು.

'Time ' how fine word is it !

Birth - Survival - growth - death...

Everything is destiny !!

The effort of a man is important for the prosperity which is a known fact. But by looking at Ravana the question arise ! - does the effort of a man require for the end or death ?

When it was time to declare the war, Kaikasi the mother of Ravana came along with her father Maalyavantha . Both of them advised him to back out from the war and to send Seetha back to Rama. But they realized that their advice went in vain which they had given to Ravana who was about to die. 

Ravana felt satisfied after seeing the security force of Lanka and then went to his harem !

( Dasharatha too had gone to his harem !)

On the other hand Rama learnt about the security force of Lanka from Vibhishana's confidants who went there in the disguise of birds. He collected information about the army comprising four wings of elephants, cavalry, chariots and infantry of Ravana. The points to be noted - 

If Ravana collected information by asking his servants;

Then the information themselves came to Rama time to time !! Rama as per the suggestion of Vibhishana made strategy to confront the enemies - 

• Neela in the eastern entrance to confront Prahastha. 

• Angada in the southern entrance to confront Mahapaarshwa. 

• Hanuman in the western entrance to confront the monsters and

• Rama himself stood in the Northern entrance to confront Ravana - in this way he made strategies to attack the enemies and commanded to declare the war.
