 ಶ್ರೀರಾಮಾಯನಮ:

ಶ್ರೀರಾಮಾಯಣ ಹಕ್ಕಿನೋಟ -೧೨೬

ವಾನರ ದಂಡು ಲಂಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇರೂರಿತು.ನೂರು ಯೋಜನ ಉದ್ದದ  ಸೇತುವೆಯನ್ನು ಐದೇ  ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿ ಲಂಕೆಗೆ ರಾಮ  ಬಂದಾಗಲೇ ರಾವಣ ಸೋತಾಗಿತ್ತು.ಇನ್ನು ಸಾಯುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾತ್ರ  ಬಾಕಿ!

ಲಂಕೆಯ ಸೊಬಗು ರಾಮನ ಮನವನ್ನೂ ಸೆಳೆಯಿತು.

ಲಂಕೆಯನ್ನು ತಲುಪಿದ ರಾಮನು ಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನು ವಿಭಾಗಿಸಿ ಈ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದನು-

•ಅಂಗದ ನೀಲರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸೈನ್ಯದೊಡನೆ ಹೃದಯ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ 

•ಋಷಭನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇನೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ  ಬಲಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ

•ಗಂಧಮಾದನನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇನೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಎಡಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ 

•ತಾನು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣನೊಂದಿಗೆ ತಲೆಯ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ 

•ಜಾಂಬವಂತನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇನೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಉದರಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ

•ಸುಗ್ರೀವನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇನೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕೆಳ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ-

ಹೀಗಿದ್ದು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲಿ ಎಂದು ಆದೇಶಿಸಿದನು.ರಾಮಾದೇಶ ಜ್ಯಾರಿಯಾಯಿತು.

ಗೂಢಚಾರ ಶುಕನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಗೊಂಡು ರಾವಣನಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದು-

•ಕೋಟಿ ವೀರರನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ರಾಮ ಸೇನೆ ದುರ್ಜಯವಾದುದು.

•ಅವರು ಲಂಕೆಯ ಕೋಟೆಯನ್ನು ಆಕ್ರಮಿಸುವ ಮೊದಲು ಒಂದೋ ಸೀತೆಯನ್ನು ರಾಮನಿಗೊಪ್ಪಿಸು,ಇಲ್ಲವೇ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿದ್ಧನಾಗು-

ಎಂದು ರಾವಣನಿಗೆ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದನು.

ರಾವಣ ಯುದ್ಧವನ್ನು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು  ಶುಕ ಸಾರಣರನ್ನು ವಾನರ ಸೇನೆಯ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯಲು ಕಳಿಸಿದನು.

ವಾನರ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾನರ ಸೇನೆಯ ಒಳಹೊಕ್ಕ ಶುಕ- ಸಾರಣರು ವಿಭೀಷಣನ ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ಸೆರೆಯಾಳುಗಳಾಗಿ ರಾಮನೆದುರು ಬಂದರು.

ದಯಾಳು ರಾಮ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಿ ರಾವಣನಿಗೆ ಯುದ್ಧಾಹ್ವಾನದ ಸಂದೇಶದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬೀಳ್ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.ಅವರು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತರಾಗಿ ಬಂದು ರಾಮನನ್ನು; ಅವನ ಅತುಲ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು,ವಾನರವೀರರ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುತ್ತಾ ರಾವಣನಲ್ಲಿ-

ಮಹಾರಾಜ!ರಾಮನೊಡನೆ ವಿರೋಧವನ್ನು ಸಾಕುಮಾಡು.

ಸಂಧಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೋ.

ಶ್ರೀರಾಮನಿಗೆ ಸೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಬಿಡು-ಎಂದರು!!

The team of monkeys settled down in Lanka .Ravana was defeated when Rama entered Lanka through the bridge which was 100 yojana long and it was built in just 5 days. The only thing remaining was the death of Ravana !

The beauty of Lanka enraptured even Rama. Rama who reached Lanka divided his army into groups and made them stand in this way - 

• Angada and Neela along with their army stood in the center position. 

• Rushabha and his army at the right side.

• Gandhamaada and his army at the left side.

• Lakshmana and he at the head position. 

• Jaambavantha and his army in the middle. 

• Sugreeva along with his army stood in the below.  - Rama commanded them to stand in these positions and to safeguard. The command of Rama was implemented. 

The spy Shuka who got released, came to Ravana and said that -

• The army of Rama which consists crores of valiants is unbeatable. 

• He told Ravana clearly either to send Seetha back or to be prepared for the war before they fortify the fort Lanka.

By choosing battle , Ravana sent Shuka and Saarana to learn about the efficiency and strength of the monkey army. 

Both Shuka and Saarana who entered the monkey troupes by disguising themselves as monkeys, got caught by Vibhishana and came before Rama as prisoners. But the kind Rama forgave them and sent him off with a message of  inviting Ravana for the war. They came to Ravana safely and praised Rama ,his peerless strength and the valor of monkey soldiers, to the skies. 

The words of Shuka and Saarana-

" My Majesty! Stop animosity with Rama .

  Make Compromise. 

Hand over Seetha to Rama "!!
