ಶ್ರೀರಾಮಾಯಣ ಹಕ್ಕಿನೋಟ -೧೨೫

'ಅವಗುಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಗುಣ' ಎಂಬ ಮಾತಿದೆ.ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಗೇ ಆಯಿತು. ಸಮುದ್ರರಾಜನಿಗೆ ಬಂದ ಅಹಂ ರಾಮನೆದುರು ಕರಗಿಹೋಗುವ ಹೊತ್ತಿಗೆ ಅವನಿಂದಾಗಿ ನಲನೆಂಬ ಶಿಲ್ಪಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಜ್ಞ ಲಭಿಸಿದ.ನಲನ ಕೋರಿಕೆಯ ಮೇರೆಗೆ   ರಾಮನು ಸೇತುವೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಲು ಕಪಿಮುಖ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು.ಸೇತುವೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಲು-

•ಪರ್ವತಗಳು 

•ಪರ್ವತ ಶಿಖರಗಳು

•ಮರಗಳು 

•ಹೆಬ್ಬಂಡೆಗಳು

•ಕಟ್ಟಿಗೆಗಳು.....

ಮತ್ತಿತರ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಳಸಿದರು.ಇವುಗಳ ಸಹಾಯದಿಂದ ನಲನು-

● ೧ನೆ ದಿನ-೧೪ಯೋಜನ

● ೨ನೆ ದಿನ- ೨೦ಯೋಜನ

● ೩ನೆ ದಿನ-೨೧ಯೋಜನ

● ೪ನೆ ದಿನ-೨೨ಯೋಜನ

● ೫ನೆ ದಿನ-೨೩ಯೋಜನ 

ಹೀಗೆ  ಐದೇ ಐದು ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ತೀರದಿಂದ ಸುವೇಲ ಪರ್ವತದವರೆಗೆ  ನೂರು ಯೋಜನಗಳಷ್ಟು ಉದ್ದದ,

ಹತ್ತು ಯೋಜನಗಳಷ್ಟು ಅಗಲದ ಮಹಾ ಸೇತುವೆಯನ್ನು ನಲನು ತನ್ನ ಸಹಚರ ವೀರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಿದನು.

ಇದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ದೇವತೆಗಳು ಋಷಿಗಳು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿ ಹರಸಿದರು.

ಈ ರಾಮಸೇತುವಿನ ಮೇಲೆ  ಸಾವಿರ ಕೋಟಿ  ವಾನರ ಸೈನಿಕರು ಕಡಲನ್ನು ದಾಟಿ ಆಚೆಯ ದಡವನ್ನು ಸೇರಿದರು.ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗಿಂತ ಮೊದಲು ಗದಾಪಾಣಿಯಾದ ವಿಭೀಷಣನು ತನ್ನ ಸಚಿವರುಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ರಕ್ಷಣಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಆಚೆಯ ದಡದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತನು.ಬಳಿಕ ರಾಮನು ಹನುಮನ ಹೆಗಲೇರಿ,ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣನು ಅಂಗದನ ಹೆಗಲೇರಿ ವಾಯುಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋದರು.ಸುಗ್ರೀವನು ಕಂದ-ಮೂಲಗಳು ಸಮೃದ್ಧವಾಗಿರುವ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ  ಸೈನ್ಯದ ಬಿಡಾರವನ್ನು  ಹೂಡಿದನು.

ರಾವಣನ ಪಾಲಿಗೆ ಉತ್ಪಾತ (ಪತನ)ಸೂಚಕವಾದ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ರಾಮನು  ಕಂಡು ಅವನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿದನು.

There is a saying " Virtue in Vice " . The same thing happened even here. The time when the arrogance which arose in Varuna melted before Rama ,an archaeologist called Nala was made available because of Varuna. As per the request of Nala Rama commanded the leader of monkey armies to build the bridge. To build the bridge -

• Mountains. 

• Mountain peaks. 

• Trees.

• Boulders. 

• Fire woods 

and other things were used by them. With the help of these Nala -

• On the first day.            - 14 Yojana.

• On the second day.      -  20 Yojana. 

• On the third day .          -  21 Yojana. 

• On the fourth day.         -  22 Yojana. 

• On the fifth day.             -  23. Yojana .

In this way , Nala along with his followers built the greatest bridge which was 100 Yojana  lengthy and 10 yojana width stretching from the south shore to Suvela Mountain in just 5 days.

It was praised and blessed by the gods and saints who witnessed this.

On this bridge of Rama ( Rama Seethu ), crores of monkey warriors crossed the sea and reached the other side of the sea. Vibhishana being armed with a club reached the other side first along with his ministers and stood on the bank as a protector. Later Rama on the back of Hanuman and Lakshmana on the back of Angada reached the other side of the sea through air route.

Sugreeva with his army settled down in the region which was enriched with bulbous roots and sweet potatoes. 

Rama saw the signs which indicated the death of Ravana and he told Lakshmana about that.
