"ಮರ್ಕಟಸ್ಯ ಸುರಾಪಾನಂ....."

ಒಂದು ಸುಭಾಷಿತದ ಮೊದಲೆರಡು ಪದಗಳು.

ಮೊದಲೇ ಮಂಗ!ಚಂಚಲ!

ನಿಶೆಯ ನಶೆಯೇರಿದರೆ?...

ಯದ್ವಾ ತದ್ವಾ ಭವಿಷ್ಯತಿ!!

ಇಲ್ಲೂ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಆಯಿತು!

 ಹನುಮನ ಸಾಧನೆಯ ಸಂತಸ ಎಲ್ಲರದಾಯಿತು.

ರಾಮ ಸುಗ್ರೀವರನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಯಶಸ್ವೀ ಮಾರುತಿ ಯಾತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ಅರಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಹೊರಟರು.ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 

ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಸುಗ್ರೀವನ ಸೋದರಮಾವ ದಧಿಮುಖನ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಮಧುವನ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿತು.ಹಸಿದಿತ್ತು.ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಮಧು; ಹಣ್ಣು- ಹಂಪಲುಗಳಿಂದ ಸಮೃದ್ಧವಾದ ಈ ಮಧುವನವನ್ನೇಕೆ ಬಳಸಬಾರದು ಎಂದು ಯೋಚಿಸಿದರು.ಜಾಂಬವಂತನ ಸಲಹೆ, ಅಂಗದನ ಅನುಮತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ  ನಿಷಿದ್ಧ ಪ್ರದೇಶವಾದರೂ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಮಧುವನದ ಒಳಹೊಕ್ಕರು.

ಬಾಳೆಯ ತೋಟದ ಪಕ್ಕದ ಕಾಡಿನ ಮಂಗಗಳು ಬಾಳೆಕಾಯಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ತಿಂದದ್ದು.ಆದರೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದದ್ದೇ ಬೇರೆ!

ಈ ವಾನರ ವೀರರು ಮಾರುತಿ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಸಂಭ್ರಮಿಸಲೂ ಇದೇ ವನವನ್ನು ಬಳಸಿದರು.

ತಿಂದದ್ದು ಕುಡಿದದ್ದು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದಾಗ; ತಲೆಗೇರಿದಾಗ ಏನಾಗುತ್ತದೋ ಅದೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಆಯಿತು.

ದಧಿಮುಖನೂ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಇವರನ್ನು ತಡೆಯಲು ಹೋದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾವಲುಗಾರರು ಏಟು ತಿಂದದ್ದೇ ತಿಂದದ್ದು.ಇವರು ಕುಡಿದರು,ಅವರು ತಿಂದರು! ಕೆಲವರು ಸತ್ತರು!! ಮಧುವನ ಹೋಗಿ ಸುಡುಗಾಡಾಯಿತು!

 ದಧಿಮುಖನು ರಾಜ ಸುಗ್ರೀವನ ಬಳಿ ಹೋಗಿ ದೂರು ಕೊಟ್ಟ.

ವಾನರ ವೀರರ ಈ ಹುಚ್ಚು ಪ್ರವೃತ್ತಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸೀತಾನ್ವೇಷಣೆಯ ಯಶಸ್ಸಿನ ಸುಳಿವು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿತು.

ಆ ಸಂತಸವನ್ನು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಅತಿಯೆನ್ನುವಂತೆ ಸಂಭ್ರಮ ಸಡಗರದಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸುವಾಗ ಆದ ಪ್ರಮಾದಕ್ಕೆ ಕ್ಷಮಾದಾನ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.ರಾಜಿ ಪಂಚಾಯಿತಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೌಹಾರ್ದಯುತ ಮಂಗಳವನ್ನು ಘೋಷಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಅಂಗದ; ಜಾಂಬವಂತ; ಹನುಮರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಪಿ ಸೇನೆ ರಾಮ ಸುಗ್ರೀವರನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿಮಾಡಿ ಅಭಿವಂದಿಸಿತು.

ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ಯಶಸ್ವೀ ವೀರರು ಮಾರುತಿಯೇ ತನ್ನ ಸಾಧನೆಯ ಹಾದಿಯನ್ನು ಹೇಳಲಿ ಎಂಬ ನಿರ್ಣಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿವರಿಸಲು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಹನುಮನು ಮಹೇಂದ್ರ ಪರ್ವತವನ್ನೇರಿದಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಪುನಃ ಬಂದಲ್ಲಿಯ ವರೆಗಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಘಟನೆಗಳನ್ನು ರಾಮಾದಿಗಳು ಕೇಳುವಂತೆ ಒಮ್ಮೆ,ರಾಮ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಎರಡು ಸಲ ಹೇಳಿದನು.

'ದೃಷ್ಟಾ ದೇವಿ'- ಸೀತಾದೇವಿಯನ್ನು ಕಂಡೆನು ಎಂಬ ಅಮೃತವಾಣಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ-

•ಮಹೇಂದ್ರ ಪರ್ವತದಿಂದ ಹಾರಿದ್ದು

•ಮೈನಾಕ ದರ್ಶನ

•ಸರಮೆ ಎದುರುಗೊಂಡದ್ದು

•ಸಿಂಹಿಕೆಯ ಸಂಹಾರ

•ಲಂಕಾ ಮಾತೆಯ ಶರಣಾಗತಿ- ಅನುಮತಿ

•ಇರುಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಂತ:ಪುರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸೀತಾನ್ವೇಷಣೆ

•ಕಾಣದೆ ಹತಾಶನಾದದ್ದು

‌•ಅಂತಿಮವಾಗಿ ಕಡೆಗಳಿಗೆಯ ಯತ್ನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಶೋಕಾ ವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೀತಾ ದರ್ಶನ

•ರಕ್ಕಸಿಯರ ಕಾವಲು- ಹಿಂಸೆ

•ರಾವಣನಿಂದ ಬೆದರಿಕೆ,

ಎರಡು ತಿಂಗಳ ಗಡುವು

•ರಕ್ಕಸಿಯರಿಂದ ಬೆದರಿಕೆ

•ತ್ರಿಜಟೆಯ ಕನಸು- ಲಂಕೆಯ ಸರ್ವನಾಶ, ಸೀತೆಯ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ

•ಶಿಂಶುಪಾವೃಕ್ಷದ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಸೀತೆ ಸಾಯಲೆಂದು ಬಂದು ಶುಭ ಸೂಚಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸಿದ್ದು

•ಹನುಮ ರಾಮನ ಕತೆ ಹಾಡಿದ್ದು

•ಸೀತಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತುಕತೆ

‌•ಸೀತೆ ನಂಬುವಂತೆ ಘಟನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಿದ್ದು

•ಮುದ್ರೆಯುಂಗುರವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟದ್ದು

•ಚೂಡಾಮಣಿ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದು

•ಪ್ರಮದಾವನ ನಾಶ

•ರಕ್ಕಸರ ಸಂಹಾರ

•ಇಂದ್ರಜಿತುವಿನಿಂದ ಬಂಧನ

•ರಾವಣನ ಭೇಟಿ

•ವಿಭೀಷಣನ ಸಲಹೆಯಿಂದ ವಧಾಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯಿಂದ ಪಾರಾದದ್ದು

•ಬಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಟ್ಟದ್ದು

•ಲಂಕಾದಹನ

•ಸೀತಾ ದರ್ಶನ

•ಮರಳಿ ಮಹೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ...

ಇಷ್ಟನ್ನು

ವಿಸ್ತಾರವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿ ರಾಮನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಶಯ-ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದನು.

ಯಶಸ್ವೀ ಹನುಮಾಯಣವನ್ನು 

ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿದರು.

ಇನ್ನು ತೊಂಬತ್ಮೂರೇ ಬಾಕಿ!

" Markatasya Suraapaasanam ..."

The first two words of wisdom.

After all a monkey ! Fickle !

If the intoxication of the spirit goes to the head ...?

Yadwa thadwaa bhavishyathi !!

The same happened even here !

Hanuman's achievement made everyone happy. 

All went to see Rama and Sugreeva to narrate the success journey of Maaruthi.  On the way they found the forest 'Madhu Vana' which was under the protection of Sugreeva's uncle Dadhimuka. All were hungry. Everyone thought of taking advantage of the forest 'Madhu Vana' which was enriched with honey and fruits. Everyone entered the plantation though it was a prohibited area with the advise of Jaambavantha and the permission of Angada.

The monkey which were there in the forest which was next to Banana grove ate only raw bananas . But here something else happened ! These monkeys used this forest to celebrate the greatness of Maaruthi. The things which happen when eating and drinking become too much and  when it goes to head, all that happened there. All the guards including Dadhimukha who went to control these monkeys, were got whipped. 

These drank, they ate !

Some died !! The forest ' Madhu Vana' turned into a graveyard !

Dadhimukha went to the king Sugreeva and complained. 

The insane behaviour of the monkeys gave them the hint of the success in the quest of Seetha. The mistake was forgiven which happened while celebrating the happiness without being aware of their limits. The auspicious cordiality was announced in the Commission of Enquiry. 

The monkey army met Rama - Sugreeva under the initiation of Angada ,Jaambavantha and Hanuman. The successful heroes of the South direction came to the decision that Maaruthi himself should explain his journey of success and told him to explain. 

Hanuman told everyone the incidents that happened since the day he had climbed up the mountain Mahendra till the day he had returned. He narrated the story again when Rama asked him.

' Drushtaa Devi' - with auspicious words - 'I saw Seethadevi ' he begins his narration of the incidents that had happened  -

• Leaping from the Mahendra mountain. 

• The appearing of Mainaaka. 

• Encountering Sarame.

• The slaying of Simhika.

• The surrender of the Goddess of Lanka - granting permission. 

• The quest for Seetha in all the harems at night.

• Disappointment when she was not found. 

• Finally in the last moment and attempt found Seetha in Ashoka Vana. 

• The surveillance of the women monsters - torture. 

• Threatening by Ravana. 

• The dead line of 2 months .

• Threatening by the women monsters. 

• The dream of Trijata - the destruction of Lanka, the release of Seetha.

• Seetha experiencing the auspicious signs when she came to kill herself near the tree Shimshupaa. 

• Hanuman singing the stories of Rama. 

• Interaction with Seetha. 

• Explaining and mentioning the incidents in a way that Seetha could believe them.

• Offering her the imprinted ring.

• Recieving Choodamani from Seetha. 

• Destruction of the garden Pramaada.

• Annihilation of the monsters. 

• Getting imprisoned by Indrajithu. 

• Meeting Ravana. 

• Escaping from the death punishment because of Vibhishana's suggestion. 

• The incident of setting fire to his tail.

• The burning of Lanka.

• The appearing of Seetha. 

• Returning to Mahendra mountain again.

After explaining all these incidents in detail, he answered all the questions and doubts of Rama. 

Everyone praised the successful Hanumaayana to the skies. 

Only 93 steps are left...!
