ಶ್ರೀರಾಮಾಯಣ ಹಕ್ಕಿನೋಟ -೧೫೬

ಸೀತೆ ಪಲ್ಲಕ್ಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದದುದನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿದ ರಾಮ ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕರೆತರಲು ವಿಭೀಷಣನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ. ಆಗ ವಿಭೀಷಣನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನೆರೆದಿದ್ದವರನ್ನು ದೂರಸರಿದು ನಿಲ್ಲುವಂತೆ ಆದೇಶಿಸಿದ.ಇದನ್ನು ವಿರೋಧಿಸಿದ ರಾಮ ಎಲ್ಲರ ಎದುರಲ್ಲೇ ಸೀತೆಯು ಬರಲೆಂದು ಅಸಹನೆ ಉದಾರತೆಗಳಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದ ದನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ ವಿಭೀಷಣನೂ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಹುಬ್ಬೇರಿಸಿದರು!

ರಾಮ ಯಾಕೆ  ಹೀಗೆ??ಎಂಬಂತಹ ಸನ್ನಿವೇಶ ಅಲ್ಲುಂಟಾಯಿತು.

ಇಲ್ಲಿ  ರಾಮ ಹೇಳಿದ ಕೆಲವು ಮಾತುಗಳು ಚಿಂತನಾರ್ಹ,ಗಮನಾರ್ಹ. ಅವು ಮುಂದಿನ ಕಠೋರ ಎನ್ನಬಹುದಾದ ರಾಮನ ನಿರ್ಧಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಪೀಠಿಕೆಯೆಂದೂ ಎನ್ನಬಹುದು. 

.ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರಿಗೆ ವಸನಗಳು ಆವರಣಗಳಲ್ಲ,ಸಚ್ಚಾರಿತ್ರವೇ ಅಭೇದ್ಯವಾದ ಆವರಣ.

.ಆಪತ್ತು ಮುಂತಾದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರು ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬರನ್ನು; ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬರು ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದರೆ ತಪ್ಪಲ್ಲ. 

.ಸೀತೆ ಈಗ ಆಪತ್ತು ಸಂಕಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಳೆ.

ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ನೋಡುತ್ತಿರುವಂತೆಯೇ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರಲಿ.ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ನೋಡಲಿ...

ರಾಮಾಜ್ಞೆ.

ಲಜ್ಜೆ ನಾಚಿಕೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ,

ಸೌಮ್ಯಭಾವದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೀತೆ ರಾಮನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಳು.

ಸಂತಸ ಪ್ರೇಮಗಳಿಂದ ಪತಿಯ ಸುಂದರ ವದನವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದಳು.ಅರಳಿದಳು.

ಆದರೆ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ತೀರಾ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಬಂದ ರಾಮನ ಈ ಬಿರುನುಡಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನರನರಳಿದಳು-

.ಮಂಗಳಸ್ವರೂಪಳೇ,ರಣರಂಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಶತ್ರುವನ್ನು ಗೆದ್ದು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಗೆದ್ದಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

.ಶತ್ರುನಾಶದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅಪಮಾನದ ನಾಶವೂ ಆಯಿತು. ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆ ಈಡೇರಿತು.

.ನಾನು ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಗೆದ್ದಿದ್ದು ನಿನಗಾಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲ.ಕುಲಕಳಂಕ ತೊಳೆಯಲು,ಅಪವಾದ ಕಳೆಯಲು.

.ಬಹುಕಾಲ ಪರಪುರುಷನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನೋಡಲಾರೆ.ರಾವಣನ ತೊಡೆಯ ಸಂಪರ್ಕದಿಂದ ದೂಷಿತೆಯಾದವಳು ನೀನು.  ಕಣ್ಣು ಬೇನೆಯುಳ್ಳವನಿಗೆ ದೀಪ ಕಂಡಾಗ ಆಗುವ ಹಿಂಸೆಯಂತೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ನನಗಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.

.ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಹತ್ತು ದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಯಾವುದು ಹಿತವೋ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ನೀನು ಹೋಗಬಹುದು. 

ನಿನ್ನಿಂದ ನನಗಾಗಬೇಕಾದ್ದು ಏನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ!..

Rama who saw Seetha arriving in the palanquin told Vibhishana to take her to him. During the time Vibhishana commanded the people who gathered there to stand at a little distance. But Rama opposed that and told Vibhishana in his impatient and generous tone that let Seetha come in the presence of everyone itself. These words of Rama made everyone including Vibhishana astonished !

The atmosphere was created there where the question ' Why is Rama so '? arose.

A few words that Rama states here is remarkable and make us ponder . Those statements can be said as the preface for the hard decision of Rama. 

The statements of Rama :

• The good character is only the unbreakable veiling for women, not the garments or cloths.

• It is not wrong if women see others and others see women during the time of danger. 

• Seetha is in danger and grief now. Therefore let her come to me as everyone is watching. Let everyone who have gathered here see.

The command of Rama. 

Seetha came to Rama with the feelings of moderate and shyness. 

She saw the beautiful face of her husband with love and happiness. She bloomed. 

But she suffered from the harsh words of Rama which was against her expectations -

• The one with the appearance of fortune, I have won you by winning a foe in the battlefield. 

• Along with the annihilation of the enemy, the annihilation of the humiliation is also done. My voe has been accomplished. 

• I have not won for you in the battle. But to wash out the stigma of the clan and to discard the illname.

• I can not see you who have been in the shelter of an another man for a long time. 

• You have been blamed for being touched by the thigh of Ravana. How a man with bad eyes feels tormented when he sees the light of the lamp in the same way I feel tormented when I see you.

• Therefore, you can go to any direction that you wish to go among 10 directions. There is nothing which could be done for me from you !...

The poor Seetha !!!
