ಶ್ರೀರಾಮಾಯಣ ಹಕ್ಕಿನೋಟ -೧೪೩

 ಹನುಮನ ಸಾಹಸದಿಂದಾಗಿ ನವಚೇತನ,ನವಜೀವನ,

ನವೋತ್ಸಾಹಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದ ವಾನರವೀರರು ಎರಡನೆಯ ಲಂಕಾದಹನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿದ್ಧರಾದರು.

'ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನಿಯೋಜಿತ ವಾನರವೀರರು ಆಯಾ ದ್ವಾರಗಳಿಂದ ಲಂಕೆಯೊಳಗೆ ನುಗ್ಗುವುದು.ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಹೆದರಿ ಹಿಂದೇಟು ಹಾಕಿದರೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಉಳಿದವರು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವುದು- ಎಂಬ ಕಠಿಣ ಸುಗ್ರೀವಾಜ್ಞೆ ಜ್ಯಾರಿಯಾಯಿತು.

ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಂಜುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದ ವಾನರವೀರರು ವಿಜಯೋತ್ಸಾಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಡಿದು ತಿಂದು ಮೈಮರೆತಿರುವ ರಕ್ಕಸರನ್ನು,ಅವರ ಮನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸುಡಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿದರು.ಹನುಮನಿತ್ತ  ಹಗಲಿನ ಲಂಕೆಯುರಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಭೀಕರವಾಯಿತು ಈ ಇರುಳಿನ ಉರಿ.ಲಂಕೆ ಯಾವ ಪರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉರಿಯಿತೆಂದರೆ ಉರಿವ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಬೆಳಕು ಸಮುದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲಿಸಿ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಕೆಂಪು ಸಮುದ್ರವೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ಕಂಡಿತು.ಅಪಾರ ಜೀವ ಸೊತ್ತುಗಳು ನಾಶವಾದವು.ಜೀವವುಳಿಸಲು ಹೊರ ಬಂದ ರಕ್ಕಸರನ್ನು ಬಾಗಿಲಲ್ಲಿರುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ವಾನರವೀರರು ಕೊಲ್ಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.ಇಂದ್ರಜಿತುವಿನ ಮಾಯಾಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರತೀಕಾರವಾಗಿ ವಾನರರ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಯುದ್ಧ.ಇಂದ್ರಜಿತುವಿನ  ಮಾಯೆಗೆ ಇರುಳೇಟು!ಬೆಂಕಿಯೇಟು!! ರಕ್ಕಸರು  ಎಚ್ಚೆತ್ತುಕೊಂಡರು.

ರಾತ್ರಿಯ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ರಾವಣಾಜ್ಞೆಯಾಯಿತು.ಭೀಕರವಾದ ಕದನವೇರ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು.

ಕಂಪನನು ಅಂಗದನ ಗದೆಯೇಟಿಗೆ ಬಲಿಯಾದ.

ಅಂಗದ-ಮೈಂದ-ದ್ವಿವಿದರು ಶೋಣಿತಾಕ್ಷ -ಯೂಪಾಕ್ಷ- ಪ್ರಜಂಘನರೊಡನೆ ಸೆಣಸಾಡಿದರು.

ಅಂಗದನು ರಾವಣನ ಸೋದರ ಪ್ರಜಂಘನನ್ನು, ದ್ವಿವಿದನು ಶೋಣಿತಾಕ್ಷನನ್ನು,  ಮೈಂದನು ಯೂಪಾಕ್ಷನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು ಹಾಕಿದರು. 

ರಕ್ಕಸರು ಕುಂಭಕರ್ಣನ ಮಗ ಕುಂಭನ ಮೊರೆಹೊಕ್ಕರು.

ಕುಂಭ ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಂತೆ ಮಹಾವೀರ.ಅವನ ಬಾಣಗಳೇಟಿಗೆ ಮೈಂದ- ದ್ವಿವಿದ -ಅಂಗದರು ಎಚ್ಚರದಪ್ಪಿದರು.ಶ್ರೀರಾಮನು ಜಾಂಬವಂತನಿಗೆ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಲು ಆದೇಶಿಸಿದನು.

ಜಾಂಬವಂತನು ಸುಷೇಣ ವೇಗದರ್ಶಿ ಮೊದಲಾದವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕುಂಭನ ಮೇಲೆ ದಾಳಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು.ಸುಗ್ರೀವನೂ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡು ನೇರ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಿದನು. ಹೋರಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಹೋರಾಡುತ್ತಾ  ಸುಗ್ರೀವನು ಕುಂಭನನ್ನು ಸಮುದ್ರಕ್ಕೆಸೆದನು.ಕುಂಭ ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಪುಟಿದೆದ್ದು ಬಂದನು. ಆದರೆ ಈ ಸಲ ತನ್ನ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಸಶಕ್ತವಾದ 

ಮುಷ್ಟಿಯೇಟಿನಿಂದ ಸುಗ್ರೀವನು ಕುಂಭನು ಮತ್ತೆಂದೂ ಏಳದಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದ.

The monkey warriors who gained new life, new enthusiasm and new energy from the adventure of Hanuman, got ready for the mission of burning Lanka for the second time. The command of Sugreeva got implemented immediately that all the appointed monkey warriors would enter Lanka through the entrance that they were told to enter. And during the time if anyone would back out from entering being scared then others had to kill them. In this way Sugreeva ordered everyone strictly. 

The monkey warriors holding fire torches in their hands began to burn the monsters and their houses who were celebrating the victory by drinking , eating and being lost in the world of intoxication . The burning of the night became more horrible than the burning which was given by Hanuman in the day . Lanka was burning in such a way that light of the fire reflected in the ocean which appeared as if there was an another red sea. An unlimited number of lives and wealth were destroyed.  The monkey warriors who were there at the doors, slaying the monsters who were trying to escape and save their lives. The direct or face to face battle of the apes as a revenge to Indrajithu's war of illusion !!

The thrash of the fire !! The monsters became alert. 

Ravana commanded for the war at night. The horrible war took place. 

Kampana became a prey to Angada's club.

Angada - Mainda - Dwivida fought with Shonithaaksha , Yoopaaksha , Prajangha .

Angada killed Ravana's brother Prajangha, 

Dwivida killed Shonithaaksha and 

Yoopaaksha was killed by Mainda.

The monsters sought protection from the son of Kumbhakarna,  Kumbha.

Kumbha was a great valiant just like his father. Mainda - Dwivida - Angada fell unconscious being hit by the arrows of Kumbha.  ShreeRama commanded Jaambavantha to go for the war. Jaambavantha along with Sushena ,Vegadarshi and others attacked Kumbha. Sugreeva too joined them and invited him for the battle. They kept fighting and at last Sugreeva threw Kumbha into the sea. Kumbha rose from there . But this time Sugreeva gave a hard blow to Kumbha with his strong fist which made Kumbha not to wake up again.
