ರಾಮಾಯಣ ಹಕ್ಕಿನೋಟ-೨೫

ದಶರಥನು ಸುಮಂತ್ರನ ಮೂಲಕ ರಾಮನನ್ನು ತನ್ರಮನೆಗೆ ಬರಹೇಳಿದನು. ಗುರು-ಪುರೋಹಿತರುಗಳಿಂದ,ರಾಜರುಗಳಿಂದ, ಸಚಿವರುಗಳಿಂದ,ಮಹಾಜನರು ಗಳಿಂದ ದಶರಥನ ಆಸ್ಥಾನ ತುಂಬಿತ್ತು.ಸುಮಂತ್ರನೊಡಗೂಡಿ ಬಂದ ರಾಮನನ್ನು ದಶರಥನು ಸೂಕ್ತವಾದ ಆಸನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತು ಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಹೇಳಿದನು.ಬಳಿಕ ತುಂಬಿದ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಮನ ಯುವರಾಜ ಪಟ್ಟಾಭಿಷೇಕದ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಅಧಿಕೃತವಾಗಿ ಘೋಷಿಸಿದನು.ನೆರೆದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಹರ್ಷೋದ್ಗಾರ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

ಬಳಿಕ ರಾಮನು ತಾಯಿಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತೆರಳಿ ಸಿಹಿಸುದ್ದಿಯನ್ನು ಅವಳಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದನು.ಕೌಸಲ್ಯೆಯ ಆನಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಪಾರವೇ ಇಲ್ಲದಂತಾಯಿತು.

ರಾಮನು ತನ್ನ ಅರಮನೆಗೆ ಸೇರಿ ಸೀತೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಗೆಳೆಯರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಸುಮಂತ್ರನು ಬಂದು ತುರ್ತಾಗಿ ದಶರಥನು ಕರೆದ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದನು.ತಂದೆಯ,ರಾಜನ ಕರೆಗೆ ಓಗೊಟ್ಟು ರಾಮನು ದಶರಥನನ್ನು ಕಾಣಲು ತೆರಳಿದನು.ಅಲ್ಲಿ ದಶರಥನು-ನೀನು ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣ ನು.ನಿನಗೆ ಹಿತವಚನಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಬೇಕೆಂದಿಲ್ಲ, ಆದರೂ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಹಿತನುಡಿ ಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿ ನಾಳೆಯ ಪುಷ್ಯ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಪಟ್ಟಾಭಿಷೇಕವಾಗಬೇಕು.ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಈಗಿಂದೀಗಲೇ ಗುರು ವಸಿಷ್ಠರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನೂ ಸೀತೆಯೂ ವ್ರತ ನಿಯಮನಿಷ್ಠರಾಗಿ- ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವು ಗಮನಾರ್ಹ ಅಂಶಗಳಿವೆ-

. ದಶರಥನು ತನ್ನ ವೃದ್ಧಾಪ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಅಂತಿಮ ದಿನಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದು

. ಅವನಿಗೆ ಇರುಳು ದುಃಸ್ವಪ್ನಗಳು ಬೀಳುತ್ತಿರುವುದು

. ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಕೆಲಸಗಳಿಗೆ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ವಿಘ್ನಗಳು ಬರುತ್ತವೆ ಎಂದಿದ್ದು

.ಭರತನು ತನ್ನ ಸೋದರಮಾವನ ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗುವ ಮೊದಲು ಯುವ ಪಟ್ಟಾಭಿಷೇಕ ಮುಗಿಯಬೇಕು ಎಂದಿದ್ದು

. ಮಹಾತ್ಮರೂ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಮಾನವನ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಸ್ಥಿರವಲ್ಲ ಎಂದಿದ್ದು

.ಕೌಸಲ್ಯೆಯು ರಾಮನಲ್ಲಿ- ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನೂ, ಸುಮಿತ್ರಾ ದೇವಿಯನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮ ಜ್ಞಾತಿ-ಬಾಂಧವರನ್ನೂ ಧರ್ಮ ಮೂಲವಾದ ರಾಜ್ಯಭಾರದಿಂದ ಆನಂದಭರಿತರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾತು-ಎಂದು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವಾಗ ಕೈಕೇಯಿಯ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪವಿಲ್ಲದ್ದು

.ರಾಮನು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣನಲ್ಲಿ-ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣ ನನ್ನೊಡನೆ ನೀನೂ ಈ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಶಾಸನಮಾಡು.ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಎರಡನೆಯ ಅಂತರಾತ್ಮ...-ಎಂದದ್ದು...

ಗುರು ವಸಿಷ್ಠರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೀತಾರಾಮರು ಉಪವಾಸ ವ್ರತದ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಕರ್ಮಾನುಷ್ಠಾನವನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಂಡರು.

ರಾಮಸತಿ ಸೀತೆಯಿಂದ ತೊಡಗಿ ಅಯೋಧ್ಯೆಯ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯ ಪ್ರಜೆಯ ತನಕ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಪಟ್ಟಾಭಿಷೇಕದ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವದ ಸಿದ್ಧತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ  ಅಯೋಧ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಭ್ರಮಿಸಿದರು.

Dhasharatha ordered Sumantra to convey his message to Rama to appear in his palace court .The royal court was crowded with Gurus, priests, kings, ministers and the citizens. Dhasharatha asked Rama to be seated in the respected seat who had arrived with Sumantra. Later Dhasharatha made the official announcement of the coronation of Rama in the presence of a huge gathering. The declaration made the gathering cheerful.

Rama went to his mother Kausalya and shared the pleasant tidings of his coronation and received her blessings. Kausalya was so glad to hear that Rama would be the Prince of Ayodhya. While Rama was talking with Seetha and his friends ,Sumantra came in along with the message of Dhasharatha that he wanted to see Rama. By respecting the order of his father and king ,Rama went to see Dhasharatha immediately. Being the father Dhasharatha adviced Rama a few things about being the Prince though he knew that Rama was flawless and had all the abilities. Dhasharatha told Rama to follow Vratha along with his wife Seetha immediately and to follow the instructions of Vasishta since Rama had to be coronated in the 'Pushya ' Nakshatra. 

A few remarkable points must be highlighted here. They are as follows,

• Dhasharatha's talk about his old age and the last days of his life. 

• Nightmares of Dhasharatha. 

• Dhasharatha stated that there would always be obstacles for the good deed.

• He wished ,the coronation of the young prince to be over before the arrival of Bharatha from his uncle's home. 

• He stated that the 'human minds are not firm 'including the minds of greatest people. 

• The name Kaikeyee was not mentioned by Kausalya while  blessing Rama that he would make Sumitra devi, their blood relatives and her happy and proud by his righteous reign of the state.

• Rama told Lakshmana to reign the state along with him as he considered Lakshmana as his other soul.

As per the guidance of Guru Vasishta, Rama and Seetha started fasting and performed the rituals which had to be done before the coronation ceremony. Everyone,  from Seetha to the last citizen of Ayodhya celebrated and flourished in the preparation for the coronation ceremony of ShriRama.
