ಶ್ರೀರಾಮಾಯಣ ಹಕ್ಕಿನೋಟ -೧೮೬

ರಾಜಾರಾಮನಿಗೆ ದುಃಖ,

ರಾಮರಾಜ್ಯದ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಸುಖ!!

ಪತಿ ಶ್ರೀರಾಮಚಂದ್ರನಿಗೆ,ಸತಿ ಸೀತಾಮಾತೆಗೆ ವಿರಹ ವಿಯೋಗಗಳ ದುಃಖ!

ಅಣ್ಣನ ದುಃಖದಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮಂದಿರಿಗೂ ಪಾಲು.

ಆದರೆ ಪ್ರಜಾಪಾಲನೆಯ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಸುಪ್ತ ಸುಪ್ತ...

"....ಸ್ವಾಗತಂ ತೇ ಪತಿವ್ರತೇ"

ದಶರಥರಾಜನ ಸೊಸೆಯಾದ,

ಶ್ರೀರಾಮನ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪ್ರಿಯ ಪಟ್ಟದರಾಣಿಯಾದ,

ಜನಕರಾಜನ ಮಗಳಾದ ಸಾಧ್ವಿಯೇ ನಿನಗೆ ಸ್ವಾಗತ ಬಯಸುತ್ತೇನೆ "ಎಂದು ವಾಲ್ಮೀಕಿ ಮಹರ್ಷಿಗಳು ಅಳುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಮಾಧಾನ ಪಡಸಿ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸೀತಾಗಮನ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿತ.ನಡೆದ ಘಟನೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಾವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿದು; ಹೇಳಿ; ಅಭಯ ಪ್ರದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ತಾಪಸ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಉಳಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ವಿಶೇಷ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದರು.

ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿ ಈಕೆ ರಾಜಪತ್ನಿಯೆಂಬ ಗೌರವದಿಂದ ಪಾಲಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ವಿಶೇಷ ಕಾಳಜಿ ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು. ಸೀತೆಯ 'ಆಶ್ರಮ ವಾಸ'ದೊಳಗಿನ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು "ವನವಾಸ" ಆರಂಭವಾಯಿತು!!

ಅಗಲಿದ್ದ ಗೌತಮ ಅಹಲ್ಯೆಯರನ್ನು ಒಂದುಗೂಡಿಸಿದ ರಾಮನನ್ನು,ರಾಜಾರಾಮನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳು ಪಟ್ಟದರಾಣಿ ಸೀತೆಯಿಂದ,

ಸೀತೆಯನ್ನು ರಾಮನಿಂದ ಬೇರ್ಪಡಿಸಿದರು.

ಇಬ್ಬರಲ್ಲೂ ತಪ್ಪಿಲ್ಲ! ಆದರೂ...

"ಊರು ಉಪಕಾರ ಅರಿಯದು!"  ಎಂಬ ಮಾತು ಎಷ್ಟು ಸತ್ಯ!! 

ವಿಧಿ!

"ದೈವಂ ಹಿ ದುರತಿಕ್ರಮಮ್" "ದೈವ ಚಿಂತನೆಯು ಅತಿಕ್ರಮಿಸಲು ಅಸಾಧ್ಯವಾದುದು.

ರಾಮನಂತಹ ಸಶಕ್ತನಿಗೇ ಹೀಗಾದರೆ ಉಳಿದವರ ಪಾಡು!?-"

ಇದು ದುಃಖದಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣನ  ಉದ್ಗಾರ!!

ಇದನ್ನು  ಕೇಳಿದ ಸುಮಂತ್ರನು- ಇದು ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಗೂ ತಿಳಿದ ವಿಚಾರ. ಬಹು ಹಿಂದೆಯೇ  ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯು ರಾಮನ ಕುರಿತು ದುರ್ವಾಸರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ - 

•ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಮನು ಹೆಚ್ಚು  ದುಃಖ ಪಡಬೇಕಾಗುವುದೆಂದೂ,

•ಅವನು ಸೌಖ್ಯರಹಿತನಾಗುವನೆಂದೂ,•ಪ್ರಿಯ ಜನರಿಂದ ಬಹು ಬೇಗನೇ  ವಿಯೋಗ ಹೊಂದುವನೆಂದೂ,

•ಇದರೊಡನೆ  ಬಹುಕಾಲದ ಬಳಿಕ ಮೈಥಿಲಿಯನ್ನು-

•ನೀವು ಸೋದರರನ್ನು ಪರಿತ್ಯಜಿಸುವನೆಂದೂ-

ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರು.

•ಮೈಥಿಲಿಯನ್ನು ಪರಿತ್ಯಜಿಸಲು ಮಹಾವಿಷ್ಣುವಿಗೆ ಭೃಗು ಮಹರ್ಷಿಗಳು ಇತ್ತ ಶಾಪವೇ ಕಾರಣವೆಂಬುದನ್ನು ದುರ್ವಾಸರು ಹೇಳಿದ ಕತೆಯನ್ನು ಸುಮಂತ್ರನು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಸಮಾಧಾನ ಪಡಿಸಿದನು.

 ಸುಮಂತ್ರನಂತಹ ಮಂತ್ರಿಗೆ ಸುಮಂತ್ರನೇ ಸಾಟಿ!

ಸುಜ್ಞಾನಿ ಸುಮಂತ್ರ.

ದುರ್ವಾಸರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ-

.ಮಹಾವಿಷ್ಣುವೇ ರಾಮನಾಗಿ ಜನಿಸಿದ.

.ಭೃಗು ಮಹರ್ಷಿಗಳ ಶಾಪದಿಂದಾಗಿ ಸತಿವಿಯೋಗವಾದರೂ ಹನ್ನೊಂದು ಸಾವಿರ ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಸುಖ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದ ರಾಜ್ಯಭಾರ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.

.ಅನೇಕ ಯಜ್ಞಯಾಗಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಕೊನೆಗೆ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ ಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾನೆ.

.ಅವನಿಗೆ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಗಂಡು ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹುಟ್ಟುತ್ತಾರೆ.ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅಯೋಧ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಟ್ಟ ಕಟ್ಟದೆ ಬೇರೆ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪಟ್ಟ ಕಟ್ಟುತ್ತಾನೆ- ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ ಭವಿಷ್ಯವಾಣಿಯನ್ನೂ ಸುಮಂತ್ರನು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು.

ಭಾರವಾದ ಮನದಿಂದ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣನು  ದೀರ್ಘವಾದ ನಿಟ್ಟುಸಿರನ್ನು ಹೊರಚೆಲ್ಲಿದ!!

Grief for Rajarama,

Pleasure for the subjects of Rama's state !!

The grief of being departed from each other, for the husband ShreeRamachandra and the wife Seethamaatha !

The brothers too had a share in the grief of the elder brother. 

But in following the duty of the subject everything was silent, silent...

"...Swaagatham the pathirvathe " 

" I welcome you, the virtuous woman, the daughter in law of Dasharatha, the most beloved queen of ShreeRama, the daughter of the king Janaka " - This is how Valmiki Maharshi welcomed Seetha by consoling her who was weeping. The arrival of Seetha was anticipated by him. He himself learnt about the incidents that had happened so far , by telling her that he assured her of safety. He made the special arrangements for her of staying with the ascetic women. 

He introduced seetha to them that she was the wife of the king and told them that she had to be treated with respect. With these words Valmiki gave them a special warning with a prior concern. 

Another " exile " of Seetha inside her ' stay in the hermitage ' began !!

The subjects departed Rama ,Rajarama who had brought Gauthama and Ahalya together who had been separated from each other, from the queen Seetha, and Seetha from Rama. 

There is no fault in both of them ! Still...

" The town( people) are not aware of the help !" - how true these words are !!

Fate !

" Daivam hi durathikramam " - The deliberation of the god is impossible to trespass. 

What about the plight of others then if this happens to an efficient like Rama !? - This was the painful words of Lakshmana who was heart broken !!

Sumantra who heard the words of Lakshmana, says addressing Lakshmana that - " Your father already knew about this . When your father had asked about Rama long back with Durvaasa he had said  that - 

• ShreeRama may have to undergo more grief and sufferings, 

• He will be ill,

• He will get departed soon from the people whom he loves, 

• He had said that, along with this, after a long time he will abandon Maithili -

• and you brothers. 

• Sumantra consoled Lakshmana by narrating him the story which was told by Durvaasa that the reason for abandoning Maraithi was the curse of Bhrugu Maharshi to Mahaavishnu. 

• For the minister like Sumantra, Sumantra himself is a match !

      The wise  Sumantra.

According to Durvaasa -

• Mahaavishnu himself is born as Rama. 

• He will go to the world of Brahma by performing many sacrificial rituals. 

• He will be blessed with two male children. He will coronate them in other states without coronating them in Ayodhya" . -

Sumantra told this augury to Lakshmana. Lakshmana exhaled a deep sigh with a heavy heart !!
