ಹದಿನಾಲ್ಕು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭರತನ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಹೇಗಿರಬಹುದು? ಖಂಡಿತಾ ಬದಲಾಗಿರದು.ಆದರೂ...

ರಾಮನ ಮನದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಸಣ್ಣ...

ರಾಮ ಒಮ್ಮೆಲೇ ಅಯೋಧ್ಯೆಗೆ ತೆರಳಲಿಲ್ಲ.ಭರಧ್ವಾಜಾಶ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಭರತನಿಗೆ ಹನುಮನ ಮೂಲಕ ತಾನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ವನವಾಸ ಪೂರೈಸಿ ಬಂದ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿ ಕಳಿಸಿದ.ಅದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಭರತನ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದು ಬರಲು ಹೇಳಿದ. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಭರತನಲ್ಲಿ-

.ರಾವಣನಿಂದ ಸೀತಾಪಹರಣ 

.ಸುಗ್ರೀವ ಸಖ್ಯ 

.ವಾಲಿಯ ವಧೆ

.ಸೀತಾನ್ವೇಷಣೆ

.ಹನುಮನಿಂದ ಸಮುದ್ರೋಲ್ಲಂಘನೆ,ಸೀತಾ ದರ್ಶನ 

.ಸಸೈನ್ಯನಾಗಿ ರಾಮ ಕಡಲ ತೀರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದುದು

.ಸಮುದ್ರರಾಜನ ದರ್ಶನ

.ನಲಸೇತು ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ 

.ರಾವಣವಧೆ

.ಮಹೇಂದ್ರ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ ವರುಣರಿಂದ ವರದಾನ

.ಮಹೇಶ್ವರನ ಅನುಗ್ರಹ ದಶರಥನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಮಾಗಮ 

.ಭರಧ್ವಾಜಾಶ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದುದು

ಸುಗ್ರೀವ ವಿಭೀಷಣ ವಾನರವೀರರು ಜತೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವುದು..ಇವಿಷ್ಟು ವಿಚಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಲು ಹೇಳಿದ. 

ಹನುಮನು ಮಾನವ ವೇಷದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಯುವೇಗದಿಂದ ಹಾರಿ ಗಂಗಾತೀರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಗುಹನನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಅವನಿಗೆ ರಾಮಾಗಮನದ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಯನ್ನರುಹಿದ.

ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಭರತನು ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ನಂದಿಗ್ರಾಮಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ತಾಪಸವೇಷದ ಭರತನನ್ನು ಕಂಡನು.ಮನುಷ್ಯ ದೇಹದ ಧರ್ಮಮೂರ್ತಿಯಂತಿದ್ದ ಬಡಕಲು ದೇಹದ ಭರತನಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಮನು ವನವಾಸ ಪೂರೈಸಿ ಬಂದದ್ದು ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಮನ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದ. 

ಆನಂದಾತಿರೇಕದಿಂದ ಭರತ ಎಚ್ಚರದಪ್ಪಿ ಬಿದ್ದ. ಬಳಿಕ ಎಚ್ಚೆತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಹನುಮನನ್ನು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವನಿಂದ -ಅಯೋಧ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ತೊರೆದಲ್ಲಿಂದ ವನವಾಸ ಮುಗಿಸಿ ಭರಧ್ವಾಜಾಶ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಲ್ಲಿಯ ವರೆಗಿನ ಕತೆಯನ್ನು -ಕೇಳಿ ಧನ್ಯನಾದನು.

 ಭರತ  ಕೂಡಲೇ ರಾಮನ ಸ್ವಾಗತಕ್ಕೆ ಸಕಲ ಸಿದ್ಧತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಶತ್ರುಘ್ನನಿಗೆ ಆದೇಶಿಸಿದ. ದಿನ ಬೆಳಗಾಗ ಬೇಕಾದರೆ ರಾಮನ- ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮನ ಸ್ವಾಗತಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಕಾದ ಸಕಲ ಸಿದ್ಧತೆಗಳು ನಡೆದು ರಾಮನ ತಾಯಂದಿರು,ವಸಿಷ್ಠ ಮಹರ್ಷಿಗಳು  ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಸೇವಕರು...ಮುಂತಾದವರು ನಂದಿಗ್ರಾಮಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರು.

How could be the mind of Bharatha in the time span of 14 years ? Certainly, it would not have changed. But still...

In the mind of Rama there was a small...

Rama did not return to Ayodhya all of a sudden. He sent the message to Bharatha through Hanuman from the hermitage of Bharadhwaja that he had returned accomplishing the exile successfully. Along with that he asked Hanuman to know the mind of Bharatha. Hanuman was asked to convey the following subjects to Bharatha -

• Abduction of Seetha by Ravana. 

• The friendship with Sugreeva. 

• The slaying of Vaali.

• The quest for Seetha. 

• Hanuman leaping across the sea, the appearance of Seetha.

• Rama who went to the shore of the sea along with his army. 

• The appearance of Varuna ( Samudraraaja).

• The building of Nala bridge.

• The slaying of Ravana. 

• The boons from Mahendra, Brahma and Varuna. 

• The grace of Maheshwara,          with Dasharatha. 

• Visiting the hermitage of Bharadhwaja. 

       And the company of Sugreeva and   

       Vibhishana....

Hanuman being in the form of a human flew in the speed of Vaayu and met Guha who was residing in the shore of the Ganga and he told Guha the good news of Rama's arrival. From there ,he went to Nandigrama where Bharatha was residing in and saw him who was in the form of an ascetic. Hanuman conveyed the message of Rama to Bharatha who had become too weak physically and who seemed as if a statue of righteousness which was carved in a human body. Hanuman then told him that Rama had arrived completing his exile.

When Bharatha heard this ,he fell unconscious being extremely happy. After regaining his consciousness,by making acquaintance with Hanuman, he learnt about all that happened since Rama had abandoned Ayodhya till the day he returned to the hermitage of Bharadhwaja after accomplishing his exile and Bharatha felt contented. 

Bharatha commanded Shatrughna to make all the arrangements to welcome Rama immediately. All the arrangements which were required for the arrival of Rama,the emperor ,were made by the very next morning. And the mothers of Rama, Vasishta Maharshi, the main servants and many others came to Nandigrama.
