ಶ್ರೀರಾಮಾಯಣ ಹಕ್ಕಿನೋಟ-೯೩ 

ಸುಂದರ ಕಾಂಡ!

ರಾಮಾಯಣದೊಳಗೆ ಬರುವ ಹನುಮಾಯಣದ ಕಾಂಡ!

ಈ ಕಾಂಡ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಹನುಮನ ಸಾಹಸಕ್ಕೆ ಮೀಸಲು!!

ಕಿಷ್ಕಿಂಧೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಟು ವಾಮನನಂತೆ ಕಂಡುಬಂದ ಹನುಮ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳೆಬೆಳೆದು ತ್ರಿವಿಕ್ರಮನಾದ ಪರಿ ಅತ್ಯದ್ಭುತ!!!

ರಾಮನು ಹನುಮನಿಗೇ ಮುದ್ರೆಯುಂಗುರವನ್ನು ಯಾಕೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು? ಎಂಬ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ವಿಫಲರಾದಾಗ ಹಿರಿಯ ಜಾಂಬವಂತನ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯಿಂದ ಹನುಮನು ಹಿಂದೆ ಮುಂದೆ ನೋಡದೆ ಸಾಗರೋಲ್ಲಂಘನೆಗೆ ಮಹೇಂದ್ರ ಪರ್ವತದ ಶಿಖರವನ್ನೇರಿದ.

ಆನೆಯಂತಿದ್ದವನು ಪರ್ವತದಂತೆ ಹಿಗ್ಗಿದ.

ಹಾರಲು ಸಿದ್ಧತೆ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಪರ್ವತದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಪನವುಂಟಾಯಿತು.

ಬಂಡೆಗಳೊಡೆದವು.

ಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳು ಹೆದರಿದವು;

ದಿಕ್ಕಾಪಾಲಾಗಿ ಓಡಿದವು.

ಸರ್ವಸನ್ನದ್ಧನಾದ ಹನುಮ ತನ್ನ ಹುಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಕಾರಣನಾದ ವಾಯುದೇವನನ್ನೂ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೇವರುಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಿದನು.

ಅವನ ಹಾರುವಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಲು, ಅವನಿಗೆ ಶುಭ ಹಾರೈಸಲು ದೇವಾನುದೇವತೆಗಳು ಆಗಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿದರು.

ಹನುಮನು ವಾನರರನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ- ವಾನರಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠರೇ, ಶ್ರೀರಾಮನ ಬಾಣದಂತೆ ವಾಯುವೇಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ರಾವಣನ ಲಂಕಾ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಒಂದೊಮ್ಮೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಜನಕಜೆಯು ಕಾಣಸಿಗದಿದ್ದರೆ ಅಷ್ಟೇ ವೇಗದಿಂದ ಸ್ವರ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇನೆ.

ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕಾಣಸಿಗದಿದ್ದರೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಲಂಕೆಗೆ ಬಂದು ರಾವಣ ಸಹಿತ ಲಂಕೆಯನ್ನೇ ಹೊತ್ತು ತರುತ್ತೇನೆ.

ನಿರಾಶರಾಗಬೇಡಿ.ಕಾರ್ಯ ಸಾಧಿಸಿಯೇ ಬರುತ್ತೇನೆ.

ನಿಶ್ಚಿಂತರಾಗಿರಿ- ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಒಮ್ಮೆಲೇ ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಚಿಮ್ಮಿ ವೇಗವಾಗಿ ಗರುಡನಂತೆ ಹಾರತೊಡಗಿದನು.

ಅವನ ಹಾರಾಟದ ಪರಿ ಹೇಗಿತ್ತೆಂದರೆ -

.ಮರಗಳು ಬುಡ ಸಹಿತ ಕಿತ್ತು ಅವನನ್ನೇ ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿದವು.

ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ದೂರದ ಬಳಿಕ ಸಮುದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿದ್ದವು.

.ಮರಗಳ ಚಿಗುರು- ಹೂಗಳು ಅವನನ್ನೇ ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿದವು.

.ಕಡಲಲೆಗಳು 

ಪರ್ವತಾಕಾರವನ್ನು ತಾಳಿ ಭೋರ್ಗರೆಯ ತೊಡಗಿದವು.

.ಅವನು ಬಾಲವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ಹಿಡಿದಿದ್ದು ಅದು ಇಂದ್ರ ಧ್ವಜದಂತೆ ಕಂಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.

.ಹಾರುವಿಕೆಯಿಂದುಂಟಾದ ವಾಯುವಿನ ಒತ್ತಡದಿಂದ ಸಮುದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಲ್ಲೋಲ ಕಲ್ಲೋಲವುಂಟಾಯಿತು.

. ಸಮುದ್ರದ ನೀರು ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಚಿಮ್ಮಿದುದರಿಂದ ಕಡಲೊಳಗಿದ್ದ ತಿಮಿಂಗಿಲವೇ ಮೊದಲಾದ ಜಲಚರಗಳೂ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಗೋಚರಿಸತೊಡಗಿದವು.

.ಅವನು ಎಷ್ಟು ವಿಶಾಲನಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆದಿದ್ದನೆಂದರೆ ಅವನ ನೆರಳು ಹತ್ತು ಯೋಜನಗಳಷ್ಟು ವಿಸ್ತಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಮೂವತ್ತು ಯೋಜನಗಳಷ್ಟು ಉದ್ದವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಸುಮನೋಹರವಾಗಿತ್ತು.

.ಅವನ ಮೈಬಣ್ಣದ ಕಾಂತಿಯು ಮೋಡಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ಪ್ರತಿ ಫಲಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು.

. ಶ್ರೀರಾಮ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮಹಾನ್ ಸಾಹಸಕ್ಕಿಳಿದ-ಏರಿದ- ಹಾರುತ್ತಿರುವ ಹನುಮನಿಗೆ ರವಿಯು ತಾಪವನ್ನುಂಟು ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ! ವಾಯುವು ಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಬೀಸಿದನು!

.ಸಾಹಸಿ ಹನುಮನನ್ನು ಮುನಿಗಳು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿದರು,ದೇವ-ಗಂಧರ್ವರು ಹಾಡಿ ಹೊಗಳಿದರು....

Sundara Kannada. 

The kaanda of ' Hanumaayana' which come in the Raamayana. 

This kaanda is completely and solely dedicated for the adventures and valor of Hanuman. 

The way how Hanuman who became Trivikrama by growing further and further here, is truly astounding !!!

Why did Rama give imprinted ring to Hanuman?

When everyone failed,  Hanuman climbed up the Mahendra Mountain without any second thought, to take a great leap across the sea, by getting inspired by the words of the elderly Jaambavantha .

Hanuman, who was like a gigantic mammoth enlarged himself like a mountain . When he was about to leap there was quivering in the mountain.

The boulders began to crack.

The animals got scared. 

And they ran being scattered. 

Hanuman who was well prepared , prayed to Vaayu who was the reason for his birth . And he prayed to all the gods before leaping across the sea. All the gods gathered in the sky to bless him and to witness the great leap of Hanuman. 

Hanuman said addressing the monkeys that he would fly to the city Lanka in the same speed of Rama's arrow. Incase if Seetha was not found there, then he would go to the heaven in the same speed. If he did not even find there then he would go back to Raavana's city Lanka and would bring the whole Lanka. He told them not to worry . Then he flew like an eagle swiftly. 

He flew in such a force that  -

• The trees were plucked from their roots and followed him. After following him a little far they fell into the sea.

• The blossoms of the trees followed him.

• The waves of the sea rose to the height of a mountain and roared.

• He lifted his tail in such a way that it appeared as the flag of Indra.

• There was turbulence in the sea due to the pressure of vaayu caused by the leap of Hanuman. 

• Wales and other sea creatures which were there in the sea appeared clearly since the water of the sea rose.

• He grew so immensely that his shadow covered upto the width of 10 yojanas and length of 30 yojanas . 

• The glow of his complexion of the body reflected even in the clouds. 

• Even the sun was shining mildly to help Hanuman who was climbing and flying and who undertook the adventure of accomplishing the great deed of Rama. Vaayu was breezing mildly !

• The sages and saints prayed for Hanuman who was a valiant. Gods and celestial beings praised Hanuman to the skies.
