ಶ್ರೀರಾಮಾಯಣ ಹಕ್ಕಿನೋಟ-೮೬

ಶರತ್ಕಾಲ ಆರಂಭವಾದರೂ ಸುಗ್ರೀವನ ಸುಳಿವಿಲ್ಲ!ಸತ್ತು ಚಟ್ಟವೇರುತ್ತೇನೆಂದವನಿಗೆ ಪಟ್ಟ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ್ದೇ!! ಅವನು ಮಾಮೂಲಿ ಕಪಿರಾಜನಾದ! ಮಧು ಮಾಂಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜತ್ವವನ್ನೇ ಮರೆತ!ಅಂತ:ಪುರ ಖಾಯಂ ನಿವಾಸವಾಯಿತು.ರುಮೆ ತಾರೆಯರೊಡನೆ ರಮಿಸಿದ್ದೇ ರಮಿಸಿದ್ದು! ಹನುಮ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸಿದ.ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಮಾತನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಸಿದ.ಊಂಹ್ಹೂಂ?ಮದಿರೆಯ ಮಾನಿನಿಯರ ಅಮಲು ಇಳಿಯಲೇ ಇಲ್ಲ!!

ಅತ್ತ ರಾಮನು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣನಲ್ಲಿ-ಸುಗ್ರೀವನ ಕೆಲಸವಾಯಿತು.ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಮರೆತನೆಂದೆನಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.ಕಿಷ್ಕಿಂಧೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವನಲ್ಲಿ 'ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ವಾಲಿಯು ಹೋದ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸುವುದು ನನಗೆ ಕಷ್ಟವಲ್ಲಎಂದು ಅಣ್ಣ ತಿಳಿಸಲು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಬಾ- ಎಂದನು.ಅಣ್ಣನ ಸಂಕಟ ಕಂಡು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣನಿಗೂ ಒಳಗೊಳಗೇ ಸುಗ್ರೀವನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕುದಿಯುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.ಬಿಲ್ಲು ಬಾಣಗಳ ಸಹಿತ ಕಿಷ್ಕಿಂಧೆಗೆ ತೆರಳಿದನು.ಹೊರವಲಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ  ಕಪಿವೀರರು ಬಂಡೆ ಮರಗಳನ್ನು ಕಿತ್ತು ದಾಳಿಗೆ ಸಿದ್ಧರಾದಾಗ ಇವನ ಉರಿಯುವ ಕೆಂಗಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಉರಿನೋಟಕ್ಕೇ ಹೆದರಿ ದಿಕ್ಕು ಪಾಲಾದರು.

ಕಿಷ್ಕಿಂಧೆಯ ಗುಹೆ ರೂಪದ ಅರಮನೆಯ ಹೊರಗೆ ನಿಂತು ಅಂಗದನ ಮೂಲಕ ಸುಗ್ರೀವನಿಗೆ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ತಲುಪಿಸಿದನು.ಸುಗ್ರೀವನು ಅಸಡ್ಡೆ ತೋರಲು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣನು ಸಿಟ್ಟಾದನು.ಅಂಗದನು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣನನ್ನು ಸುಗ್ರೀವನ ಅಂತ:ಪುರಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದನು.ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳಗೆ ವಿಲಾಸೀ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಏಕಾಂತ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತು ಸುಗ್ರೀವನನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿದನು.ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣನ ಸಿಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಹೆದರಿದ ಸುಗ್ರೀವನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಸಮಾಧಾನಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಜಾಣೆ ತಾರೆಯನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.ತಾರೆ ತನ್ನ ಜಾಣನುಡಿಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣನ ಕೋಪವನ್ನಿಳಿಸಿ ಸುಗ್ರೀವನತ್ತ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದಳು.ಪಾನಮತ್ತ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲೇ ಇದ್ದ ಸುಗ್ರೀವನನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣನಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಕ್ರೋಧ ಉಕ್ಕೇರೀತು.'ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸದ, ಉಪಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುಪಕಾರ ಮಾಡದ ಕೃತಘ್ನನಿಗೆ ಕ್ಷಮೆಯೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.ವಾಲಿಯು ಹೋದ ಜಾಗಕ್ಕೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುವುದು ರಾಮನಿಗೆ ಕಷ್ಟದ ಕೆಲಸವೇನಲ್ಲ.ಆದರೂ ನಿನಗೆ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿ ಬರಲು ಅಣ್ಣ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.ಸೀತಾನ್ವೇಷಣೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನಿತ್ತ ಮಾತನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಸಲು ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ-ಎಂದನು.

ಸುಗ್ರೀವನ ಅಮಲು ಇಳಿಯಿತು.ತಾರೆಯು ಈ ತನಕ ಕಪಿ ವೀರರನ್ನು ಒಟ್ಟು ಗೂಡಿಸುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ಆದ ಪ್ರಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣನನ್ನು ಸಮಾಧಾನ ಪಡಿಸಿದಳು.ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣನೂ ಮೃದು-ಸ್ನೇಹಮಯ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಂದ ಹೆದರಿದ ಸುಗ್ರೀವವನಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ ಪ್ರಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ಮೂಡಿಸಿದನು.ಬಳಿಕ ಅವನು ಸುಗ್ರೀವ ಹನುಮಂತ ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರ ಕಪಿವೀರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ರಾಮನಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದನು.

Though the autumn season began ,there was no sign of Sugreeva! He obtained and ascended the throne who used to say that he would ascend the bier !! He became a conventional monkey king! He forgot the ethics of Kingship by getting addicted to spirits and meat ! The harem became his permanent residence. He was enjoining and merry making with Ruma and Tara. By observing all these, Hanuman cautioned him and reminded him of his words that he had given to Rama. But he was so intoxicated by the women and spirit that he ignored the words of Hanuman. The spree did not come down !!

On the other hand Rama told Lakshmana that Sugreeva might have forgotten his promise after getting his work done. He commanded Lakshmana to go to Kishkindha and to convey his words to Sugreeva that it would not be a difficult thing for Rama to send him to the path which Vaali had gone. Lakshmana too was angry on Sugreeva after seeing the torment of his brother. Lakshmana along with his bow and arrows went to Kishkindha. The monkey soldiers who were outside got ready to attack Lakshmana by plucking the boulders and trees. But they  all scattered being scared of the blazing look of Lakshmana's fiery eyes.  Lakshmana who stood outside the palace of Kishkindha which appeared as a cave,sent a message of his arrival to Sugreeva through Angada. But Sugreeva made Lakshmana outrageous by ignoring his message. Angada took Lakshmana to the harem of Sugreeva. By seeing the coquettes Lakshmana stood there in a secluded place and anticipated Sugreeva. Sugreeva who was afraid of the angry Lakshmana, sent Tara who was smart, to console Lakshmana.  Tara consoled Lakshmana with her pleasing words smartly and took him towards Sugreeva.  Lakshmana's anger was again ignited ,when he saw Sugreeva who was drunk. He said angrily that ,a man who could not keep his words would not be  forgiven and there was no forgiveness to an ingratitude wretch who did not return his kindness to the man who had helped him in his need. Lakshmana repeated the same words which Rama had asked him to convey that it would not be difficult for Rama to send Sugreeva to the place where Vaali had gone. Further Lakshmana said that he had been sent by his brother to warn him . And he had come there to remind Sugreeva of his words regarding the quest for Seetha. 

Finally the spree came down and Sugreeva came to his senses. Tara calmed Lakshmana down by explaining him about the progress in gathering the monkey soldiers so far. Lakshmana with cordial words manifested the duty conscious in Sugreeva who was scared. Later Lakshmana, Sugreeva, Hanuman and other monkey soldiers came to the place where Rama was in.
