 ಶ್ರೀರಾಮಾಯಣ ಹಕ್ಕಿನೋಟ

 ಶ್ರೀರಾಮಾಯನಮ:

ರಾಮ ಬಲದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸುಗ್ರೀವನು ಕಿಷ್ಕಿಂಧೆಗೆ ಹೋದನು.ಸೋದರರ ನಡುವೆ ಘನಘೋರ ದ್ವಂದ್ವ ಯುದ್ಧ ನಡೆಯಿತು.ಇಬ್ಬರೂ ಗಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾನ ಹೋಲಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಕಾರಣ ರಾಮನು ಬಾಣಪ್ರಯೋಗ ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.ಸೋತು ಋಷ್ಯಮೂಕಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದ ಸುಗ್ರೀವನು ತುಸು ಬೇಸರಿಸಿದನು.ರಾಮನು ತನ್ನ ಗೊಂದಲವನ್ನು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟ ಪಡಿಸಿದನು.

ಅಣ್ಣ ತಮ್ಮಂದಿರ ಗುರುತು ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಗೋಚರಿಸಲು ಎರಡನೇ ಸಲ ಸುಗ್ರೀವನು ಗಜಪುಷ್ಪೀಲತೆಯ ಹಾರವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದನು.ಇದು ರಾಮನಿತ್ತ ಸಲಹೆಯಾಗಿತ್ತು.ಗರ್ಜಿಸುತ್ತಾ ವಾಲಿಗೆ ಯುದ್ಧಾಹ್ವಾನವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದನು.ವಾಲಿಯು ಈ ಸಲ ತಮ್ಮನು ಮತ್ತೆಂದೂ ತನ್ನ ತಂಟೆಗೆ ಬಾರದಂತಿರುವ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹೊರಟನು.

ಈ ಸಲ ಸತಿ ತಾರೆ ತಡೆದಳು.ಯುದ್ಧ ಬೇಡ,ಸಂಧಾನ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಎಂದಳು.

ಹೊತ್ತಲ್ಲದ ಹೊತ್ತಲ್ಲಿ ಯುದ್ಧ ಬೇಡ ಅಂದಳು.

ಸುಗ್ರೀವನ ಪತ್ನಿ ರುಮೆಯನ್ನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮರಳಿಸಲು ಹೇಳಿದಳು.

ಗೂಢಚಾರರು ಮಗ ಅಂಗದನಿಗೆ ತಂದಿತ್ತ ರಾಮನ ಸಹಾಯದ ಸುಳಿವನ್ನೂ ನೀಡಿದಳು.

ಅಂಗದನಿಗೆ ಯುವರಾಜ ಪಟ್ಟಾಭಿಷೇಕ ಮಾಡಿ ಎಂದಳು.

ಸೋದರ ಪ್ರೇಮಿ ಸುಗ್ರೀವನನ್ನು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಲು ಕೋರಿಕೊಂಡಳು....

ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ವ್ಯರ್ಥ.

ವಿನಾಶಕಾಲ ಸಮೀಪಿಸಿತ್ತು.

ಒಲ್ಲದ ಮನದಿಂದ ಸಂಕಟಪಡುತ್ತಾ ಗಂಡನನ್ನು ಹೋರಾಡಲು ಕಳಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟಳು.

ಹೋದ ವಾಲಿ ಬರಲೇ ಇಲ್ಲ! ಈ ಸಲ ರಾಮನು ಯೋಜಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ನಡೆಯಿತು.

ಸಮಬಲದ ಹೋರಾಟ ನಡೆದು ಇನ್ನೇನು ಸುಗ್ರೀವನೆದುರು ವಾಲಿಯ ಕೈ ಮೇಲಾಯಿತು ಎನ್ನುವ ಹೊತ್ತಿಗೆ ರಾಮಬಾಣ ತನ್ನ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿತು.

ವಾಲಿ ನೆಲಕ್ಕುರುಳಿದ! ಮರೆಯಿಂದ ಬಾಣ ಬಿಟ್ಟ ರಾಮ ವಾಲಿಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದನು.

ವಾಲಿಯು ಪ್ರಾಣ ಹೋಗುವ ಆ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲೂ ರಾಮನಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ನ್ಯಾಯವೇ? ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದ!!

ಗಮನಿಸಿ-

*ವಾಲಿಯನ್ನು ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಎದುರಿಸುವಾಗ ಎದುರಾಳಿಯ ಅರ್ಧಬಲ ವಾಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತದೆ.ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಜೇಯ- ಎನ್ನುವ ವಿಚಾರ ವಾಲ್ಮೀಕಿ ರಾಮಾಯಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲ.*

Sugreeva went to Kishkindha along with Rama ,believing in his power. There was a horrible duel between the two brothers.  Rama did not use arrows since both the brothers were similar in size. Sugreeva was sad who came back to Rushyamooka being defeated. Rama clearly explained him his confusion. 

Sugreeva went for the battle second time by wearing the garland of red flowers so that the elder brother and younger brother would be identified easily. This was suggested by Rama ! Sugreeva with a roar invited Vaali for the duel. Vaali rushed towards Sugreeva with a thought of punishing him severely that his younger brother should never ever think of troubling him again. But during the time ,Taara, his wife came in the way and stopped him .She advised him to compromise instead of a battle. She told him not to go for the battle in an inappropriate time. She further told him to send Ruma ,back to her husband Sugreeva. She also gave him the hint that the spies had informed their son Angada about Rama who had come there to assist Sugreeva. She asked Vaali to coronate Angada the prince. She requested him to forgive Sugreeva who had always loved him...

But everything was futile...

The doom had approached. 

With a painful heart, sent her husband Vaali for the battle. 

Vaali who had gone ,never returned! Everything happened the way Rama had planned. There was a horrible and an equal fight between both the brothers. When Sugreeva was about to get defeated and Vaali was about to get the upper hand in the battle ,Rama who was hiding, unleashed the arrow and the arrow of Rama ( Ramabaana) performed its duty.

Vaali fell to the ground ! Rama, who had unleashed the arrow without being noticed, came near to Vaali. Vaali who was at the verge of his death asked Rama to justify his deed.

Note:

• While facing Vaali in a battle the half power of an opponent goes to Vaali. So he is unconquerable in the battle. -- This subject is not mentioned in Valmiki Ramayana.
