ಶ್ರೀರಾಮಾಯಣ ಹಕ್ಕಿನೋಟ-೭೩

.ಕಾಲಕೂಟ ವಿಷವನ್ನು ಕುಡಿದವ ಬದುಕಲುಂಟೇ?

.ಸುಡುವ ಬೆಂಕಿಯನ್ನು ಬಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡಯ್ಯಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವೇ?

. ಚಿನ್ನ-ಸೀಸ,

ಅಮೃತ-ನವಣೆ ಗಂಜಿ,

ಗರುಡ-ಕಾಗೆ..ರಾಮ-ರಾವಣರ ನಡುವಿನ ಅಂತರ!

.ಸೀತಾಪಹರಣವನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ರವಿಯೂ ಕಾಂತಿಹೀನನಾದನು

ಸೀತೆ ರಾವಣನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳುವುದು-

. ನೀನು ಮಹಾಶೂರನೆಂದು ಕೊಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಅಪಹರಣದಂತಹ ಹೇಯಕಾರ್ಯ

. ನಿಜವಾದ ಸಾಹಸಿಯಾದರೆ ಒಂದು ಮುಹೂರ್ತ ಕಾಲ ನಿಂತು ನೋಡು

. ಕೆಣಕಿದ ಹದಿನಾಲ್ಕು ಸಾವಿರ ರಾಕ್ಷಸರನ್ನು   ರಾಮನೊಬ್ಬನೇ ಒಂದೂವರೆ ಮುಹೂರ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದನು.ಇನ್ನು ಅಪಹರಿಸಿದ ನೀನು ಬದುಕಲುಂಟೇ?

-ರಾವಣನ ಹಲವು ವಿಧಗಳ ಆಮಿಷಗಳಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಸೀತೆ ಒಂದು ಹುಲ್ಲು ಕಡ್ಡಿ(ರಾವಣ ಹುಲುಕಡ್ಡಿಗೆ ಸಮಾನ ಎಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಿ)ಯನ್ನು ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಡಿದು ನಿರ್ಭಯಳಾಗಿ ರಾವಣನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳುವ ಮಾತುಗಳು-

*ರಾಮನು ತನ್ನ ತಮ್ಮ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣನೊಡನೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣಾಪಹರಣ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ

*ನೀನೀಗ ಯಜ್ಞಸ್ತಂಭಕ್ಕೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿದ ಪಶುವಿನಂತೆ

*ನಿನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಲಂಕೆಯೂ ಪತಿಹೀನಳಾದ ವಿಧವೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಾಳೆ

*ಈ ನಿನ್ನ ಪಾಪ ಕರ್ಮವು ನಿನ್ನ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಿರುವ ರಾಕ್ಷಸರ ಮತ್ತು ನಿನ್ನ ಅಂತ:ಪುರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರ ಸರ್ವನಾಶಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ

*ಈ ನನ್ನ ಶರೀರವು ಜಡವಾದುದು.ಇದನ್ನು ಬಂಧನದಲ್ಲಾದರೂ ಇಡು ಕತ್ತರಿಸಿಯಾದರೂ ಹಾಕು.ಇದರಾಸೆ ನನಗಿಲ್ಲ.ಆದರೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಲೋಕಾಪವಾದವನ್ನು ನಾನು ಸಹಿಸತಕ್ಕವಳಲ್ಲ...

ಇವು

ರಾವಣನು ಸೆರೆಹಿಡಿಯುವ ಮುನ್ನ ಮತ್ತು ಅದರ ಬಳಿಕ ಸೀತೆ ರಾವಣನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಕೆಚ್ಚೆದೆಯ ಮಾತುಗಳು!ಇದರಂತೆ ನಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಳು.ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಧಗಳ ಬೆದರಿಕೆಗಳಿಗೂ ಮಣಿಯದೆ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ತಾನು ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಳು!

ಬ್ರಹ್ಮನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯಂತೆ ಇಂದ್ರನು ಅಶೋಕೆಗೆ ಬಂದು,ಸೀತೆಗೆ ಕುಡಿಯಲು ದಿವ್ಯವಾದ ಪಾಯಸವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಅದರ ಮಹತ್ತ್ವವನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದನು.ರಾವಣನ ಬಂಧನದಿಂದ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಗುವ ತನಕ ಅದನ್ನು ಕುಡಿದ ಸೀತೆಗೆ ಹಸಿವು ನೀರಡಿಕೆಗಳು ಆಗಲೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.ಆದದ್ದು ರಾಮ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣರ ಚಿಂತೆ ಮಾತ್ರ!

ನಮ್ಮ ಹಿರಿಯರು ಗೌರವದಿಂದ ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಪೂಜ್ಯ ಭಾವನೆಯಿಂದ ಕಾಣುವ ಐವರು ಮಹಾಪತಿವ್ರತೆಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂವರು ಬರುವುದು ರಾಮಾಯಣದಲ್ಲಿ!!

ಮೂವರ ಬದುಕೂ ಭಿನ್ನ ಭಿನ್ನ...

ಇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಸೀತೆ ಇಂದೂ ರಾಮನಿಗಿಂತ ಮೊದಲು ಪೂಜಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವವಳು!

ರಾಮಾಯಣವು- ರಾಮಾಯಣವೂ ಹೌದು ಜಾನಕೀಜೀವನವೂ ಹೌದು!

ಹಾಗೇ ಪೌಲಸ್ತ್ಯ ವಧೆಯೂ ಹೌದು!!

ವಾಲ್ಮೀಕಿ ಮುನಿಪುಂಗವನಿಗೆ ನಮೋನಮಃ.

• Can a person survive who has drunk dangerous venom?

• Is it possible to carry the burning fire in a clothe?

• The difference between Rama and Raavana! -

       Gold.     -  lead

       Nectar  -  the gruel of foxtail millet. 

       Eagle.   -  crow.

• The sun turned pale who witnessed the abduction of Seetha. 

Seetha told Raavana --

• The deed he was doing by claiming and boasting himself as valiant, was the disgusting deed of abduction. 

• Challenged him to wait for 1 hour if he was truly daring. 

• Rama alone had slayed 14,000 monsters in just one and half Muhoortham (72 minutes) ho had provoked him, then would Raavana survive who had abducted her.

As the answer to the many luxuries that Raavana offered to her, she held a hay stick in her hand ( she assumed,  Raavana was equal to a hay stick)and audaciously told him --

• Rama along with his younger brother Lakshmana would kill Raavana. 

• According to Seetha, the situation of Raavana was ,as a sacrificial ritual which was tied to the sacrificial pillar. 

• Along with Raavana Lanka too become a widow without a husband. 

• His evil and sinful deed (Paapa Karma) would be the reason for the destruction of him, the monsters who were depending on him and his women in the harem. 

• Her body was sluggish. She would not be bothered even if she was kept in imprisonment or her body was cut into pieces but she would not tolerate if she would get ill named by the world. 

These were the daring words stated by Seetha to Raavana, before and after she was being captivated by him! and she acted according to her words. She saved herself by not surrendering herself to any kinds of threats. 

As per the command of Brahma, Indra came to Ashoka and gave the devine sweet pudding (paayasa) to Seetha. Then explained her the significance of the pudding. After drinking the devine pudding, Seetha never felt either hunger or thirst until she was liberated from the clutch of Raavana. She was only worried about Rama and Lakshmana!.

There are 5 great women or mahapathivrathas whom our ancestors have identified and  look up to with great respect and reverence. Among the five great women ,three of them appear in Raamayana !!

Among these three, Seetha is the one who is being worshipped before Rama even today.

Raamayana - is also Raamayana 

also the life of Jaanakee,

and also the slaying of Paulasthya.
