ಶ್ರೀರಾಮಾಯಣ ಹಕ್ಕಿನೋಟ-೬೩

ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣ ಅರಣ್ಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿ!ಇದು ರಾಮ ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾತು.ಸರ್ವ ಋತುಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೂಕ್ತವಾದ ಜಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಶ್ರಮ ಮತ್ತು ಪರ್ಣಕುಟಿಯನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸು ಎಂದು ರಾಮನು ಹೇಳಿದನು.ಆಗ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣನು ನನಗಿಂತಲೂ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯಾದ ನೀನೇ  ನಿಮಗಿಬ್ಬರಿಗೆ ಹಿತಕರವಾದ ಜಾಗವನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸು ಎಂದನು.ರಾಮನು ಸೂಚಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತವಾದ ಸ್ಥಳ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣನು ಬಹು ಸುಂದರವಾದ ವಾಸಯೋಗ್ಯ ಆಶ್ರಮವನ್ನೂ ಪರ್ಣಕುಟೀರವನ್ನೂ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದನು.ವಾಸ್ತುಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮನೆಯೊಕ್ಕಲಿಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದ ಕರ್ಮಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ವಾಸಿಸಲು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದರು.ಜಟಾಯುವೂ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಸದಸ್ಯನಾಯಿತು! ಪಂಚವಟಿಯು ಅಗಸ್ತ್ಯರು ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆ ಸರ್ವ ಜೀವಿಗಳೂ,ಸಸ್ಯಗಳೂ ಇರುವ ಸಮೃದ್ಧ ಕಾನನ.ಆ ವನವು ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ತುಂಬಾ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಯಿತು. 

ರಾಮನಿಗೆ ಹೇಮಂತ ಋತು ಪ್ರಿಯವಾದುದಂತೆ.

ಚಳಿಗಾಲ.

ಸರೋವರದ ಬದಲು ಗೋದಾವರಿ ನದಿಗೇ ಮೀಯಲು ಹೋಗಿ ಜಪತಪಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸಿ 

ದೇವತೆಗಳಿಗೂ ಪಿತೃಗಳಿಗೂ ತರ್ಪಣಗಳನ್ನೀಯುವುದು.

ಬಳಿಕ ಆಶ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಜಪತಪ ಹೋಮಾದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸಿ ಪರ್ಣಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಬಂದು ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು.ಇದು ಅವರ ದಿನಚರಿಯಾಯಿತು.

ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣನಿಗೆ ಭರತನ ನೆನಪಾಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.ಅವನ ಗುಣಗಾನ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಅವನು ಎಷ್ಟು ಕಷ್ಟಪಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೋ ಏನೋ ಎಂದು ಉದ್ಗರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.ಅಯೋಧ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಸಿದಾಗ ನೋವು- ನಲಿವುಗಳೆರಡೂ ಉಂಟಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದವು.

ದಿನಗಳುರುಳುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದವು.

Lakshmana had the knowledge of forest! The above statement was made by Rama. Rama told Lakshmana to build hermitage as well as the dwelling of the leaves in the appropriate place which would be suitable for all the seasons. But Lakshmana stated  that Rama was wiser than him and asked him to suggest a place that Seetha and he liked. Lakshmana built a beautiful hermitage and dwelling of the leaves in the place suggested by Rama. They performed religious rituals related to house warming ceremony according to Vasthu Shastra and then began the journey of their new life in the new dwelling.  Jataayu became one of the members of their family. As Agasthya said, Panchavati was an enriched forest which was enveloped with all kinds of living creatures  and plants. Panchavati was adorned by the three of them. 

The favorite season of Rama was winter. Instead of taking bath in the lake, they used to take bath in the river Godaavari. Their daily routine was , chantings, meditating, offering oblation to gods and manes and after that returning to the hermitage and chanting, penancing and then getting back to their dwelling of the leaves. 

Lakshmana was haunted by the memories of Bharatha.  He was praising Bharatha and thinking about his situation in the state. Both sorrow and happiness evoked when Ayodhya was remembered.  The days were passing...
