ಶ್ರೀರಾಮಾಯಣ ಹಕ್ಕಿನೋಟ -೧೨೧

 ರಾವಣನು ಹೇಳಿದ  ಮೂರು ವರ್ಗಗಳ ಸಲಹೆಗಾರರಲ್ಲಿ ರಾವಣನ ಸುತ್ತ ಇದ್ದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹುತೇಕರು ಮೂರನೇ ವರ್ಗದವರು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಉತ್ತಮ ಉದಾಹರಣೆ:ಮಹಾಪಾರ್ಶ್ವ.

ಇವನು  ರಾವಣನಿಗೆ ಸೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ ಉಪಭೋಗಿಸುವ ಸಲಹೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದನು.

ರಾವಣ ಒಪ್ಪುತ್ತಿದ್ದನೇನೋ!?ಆದರೆ  ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮನಿತ್ತ ಶಾಪದಿಂದಾಗಿ ಇದು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.ಕಾರಣ-

ಒಮ್ಮೆ ರಾವಣನು ಆಗಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಭವನಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಪುಂಜಿಕಸ್ಥಲೀ ಎಂಬ ಅಪ್ಸರೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಕಾಮಮೋಹಿತನಾದನು. ಅವಳ ಇಚ್ಛೆಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಬಲಾತ್ಕರಿಸಿ ಅತ್ಯಾಚಾರ ಮಾಡಿದ.ಅವಳು ಬ್ರಹ್ಮನಲ್ಲಿ ತನಗಾದ ಅನ್ಯಾಯ ಹೇಳಿದಳು.ಆಗ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮನು ಸಿಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ರಾವಣನಿಗೆ- ಇಂದಿನಿಂದ  ನೀನು ಅನ್ಯಸ್ತ್ರೀಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ ಸಮಾಗಮ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇ ಆದರೆ  ನಿನ್ನ ತಲೆಯು ನೂರು ಹೋಳುಗಳಾಗುತ್ತವೆ.ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಶಯವೇ ಇಲ್ಲ "ಎಂದು  ಶಾಪಕೊಟ್ಟನು.ಅಂದಿನಿಂದ ರಾವಣನು ಸಾಚಾ!!

ಇದರಿಂದಾಗಿ ಮಹಾಪಾರ್ಶ್ವನ ದಿವ್ಯ ಸಲಹೆ! ಠುಸ್ಸಾಯಿತು!.

ವಿಭೀಷಣ ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ  ತುಂಬಿದ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೀತೆಯನ್ನು ರಾಮನಿಗೊಪ್ಪಿಸುವ ಸಲಹೆಯನ್ನು  ನೀಡಿದನು.

.ಅಜೇಯ,ಅವಧ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀರಾಮನನ್ನು  ಸೋಲಿಸಲು ನಮ್ಮವರಾರಿಂದಲೂ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. 

.ಅಧರ್ಮದಲ್ಲೇ ಬುದ್ಧಿಯಿರುವವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ವರ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. 

.ನೌಕೆಯಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಸಾಗರವನ್ನು ದಾಟಲಾದೀತೇ?

.ಶ್ರೀರಾಮ ಸರ್ವಕಾರ್ಯ ಸಮರ್ಥ.ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಸೀತೆಯನ್ನು ರಾಮನಿಗೊಪ್ಪಿಸುವುದೇ ಸೂಕ್ತ  ಎಂದು ವಿಭೀಷಣನು ಪ್ರತಿಪಾದಿಸಿದನು.

ಆಗ ಇಂದ್ರಜಿತುವು ವಿಭೀಷಣನನ್ನು ಹಾಸ್ಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ನಿಂದಿಸಿ ಅವನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ತಳ್ಳಿ ಹಾಕಿದನು.ಲೇವಡಿಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಹೇಡಿಯೆಂದು ಜರೆದನು.

ಮಗ ಇಂದ್ರಜಿತುವಿನ,ಮಹಾಪಾರ್ಶ್ವ ಮತ್ತಿತರ ಸಚಿವರ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಂದ ಪ್ರಚೋದನೆಗೊಂಡ ರಾವಣನು ವಿಭೀಷಣನನ್ನು ಹಿತಶತ್ರುವೆಂದು ಜರೆದು,ನೀನಲ್ಲದೆ ಬೇರೆ ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವನು ಈ ಹೊತ್ತಿಗೆ ಜೀವ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಎಂದು ಸಿಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ  ಅಬ್ಬರಿಸಿದನು.

ಇದರಿಂದಾಗಿ ಅವಮಾನಿತನಾದ ವಿಭೀಷಣನು ಅಣ್ಣ ರಾವಣನನ್ನು ತೊರೆಯುವ ನಿರ್ಧಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದನು.ತನ್ನ ನಾಲ್ವರು ಸಹಚರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಗದಾಪಾಣಿಯಾಗಿ ಆಗಸಕ್ಕೆ ನೆಗೆದು- ಸರ್ವಪ್ರಕಾರದಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು, ಲಂಕೆಯನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೋ.ನಿನಗೆ ಮಂಗಳವಾಗಲಿ- ಎಂದು ರಾವಣನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ ಹಾರಿ ಹೋದನು.

The most of the people who were there around Ravana belonged to the third category among the three kinds of advisers that Ravana had mentioned. The best example for that : Mahaapaarshwa.

He advised Ravana to molest Seetha forcefully. Ravana might have had the wish too !? But it did not happen since Ravana was cursed by Brahma. The reason behind the curse was - 

Once Ravana while going in the sky ,seduced by the beauty of a nymph named Punjikasthalee who was on her way to the abode of Brahma. Ravana forcibly used her to fulfill his lust in otherwords she was raped.. She went to Brahma and told him the injustice that was done to her. This deed of Ravana enraged Brahma and he cursed Ravana that if he would molest any other woman again forcibly then his head would split into thousand pieces and there was no doubt about that.  Since then ,Ravana was sincere  !! Due to this reason ,the best advice of Mahaapaarshwa failed !

Vibhishana advised Ravana again in the crowded assembly to hand over Seetha to Rama.

• It is not possible for our people to defeat Rama who is unconquerable.

• It is impossible to go to the heaven for the one who is wise in the unrighteousness. 

• Is it possible to cross the sea which has no ship ?

• ShreeRama is efficient to do all the deeds. So it is better to hand over Seetha to Rama. 

In this way Vibhishana argued. 

During the time ,Indrajithu made fun of Vibhishana and brushed away his advice by humiliating him. He mocked at Vibhishana by calling him a coward. 

Ravana, after hearing the words of his son Indrajithu,  Mahaapaarshwa and others got provoked and reviled Vibhishana as a traitor and clamoured  that if anyone else had told him the words which were uttered by Vibhishana then he would have lost his life by then.

Because of all these humiliation, Vibhishana decided to desert his elder brother Ravana . Vibhishana along with his four disciples leapt into the sky being armed with a club .  Vibhishana flew away by wishing him all the luck to save himself and Lanka in every way.
