"ಬಂದ ಬಹುಮುಖ್ಯವಾದ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಈಡೇರಿತು! ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾದ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪವೇ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಉಳಿದಿದೆ- ರಾವಣನ ಬಲಾಬಲ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಕಾರ್ಯ.

ಹನುಮಂತ ಬಲವಂತ-ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತ-

ವಿವೇಕಿಯೂ ಹೌದು.ಕೇವಲ ದೂತ ಕಾರ್ಯವಾದ ಸೀತೆಯು ಇರುವ ತಾಣವನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ತಿಳಿಯದೆ ಶತ್ರುವಿನ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯದ ಆಳ ವಿಸ್ತಾರಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯುವ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೂ(ಅಪಾಯಕಾರಿ ಕೆಲಸ,ರಾಮ ಹೇಳದಿದ್ದರೂ ಆ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೆ ಕೈಹಾಕುತ್ತಾನೆ)

ಯೋಜನೆ ತಯಾರಿಸಿ  ಅದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದೇ ಹೋಗುವುದು"-ಎಂದು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಿದ. ಹನುಮನು ದಂಡೋಪಾಯವೇ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಸೂಕ್ತವಾದ ದಾರಿ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನೂ ಮನಗಂಡ! •ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದಕರಿಗೆ ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದನೆಯೇ ಮದ್ದು! •ರಕ್ಕಸರಿಗೆ ಸಾಮೋಪಾಯ ಸಲ್ಲದು.

•ಧನಾಢ್ಯರಾದ ಕಾರಣ ದಾನೋಪಾಯವೂ ನಡೆಯದು.

•ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಬಲದಿಂದಲೇ ದರ್ಪಿಷ್ಠರಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಭೇದೋಪಾಯವೂ ಸಲ್ಲದು.

•ದಂಡೋಪಾಯವೇ ಸೂಕ್ತವೆಂದು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಿ ಅಶೋಕವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೋಲಾಹಲವನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಲು ನಿಶ್ಚಯಿಸಿದನು.

ಅಶೋಕವನವು ರಾವಣನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಿಯವಾದುದು.ಅದನ್ನೇ ಧ್ವಂಸ ಮಾಡುವುದೊಳಿತು ಎಂದು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಿ ಸೀತಾಮಾತೆಯಿದ್ದ ಆ ಪ್ರದೇಶವೊಂದನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಪ್ರಮದಾವನವೂ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಉಳಿದೆಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರದೇಶವನ್ನು ಪುಡಿಗಟ್ಟಿದನು.ರಮಣೀಯ ಅಶೋಕವು ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾಯಿತು.

ಪ್ರಾಣಿ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳ ರೋದನದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿತು.

ರಕ್ಕಸಿಯರು ಹೆದರಿ ಬೆಕ್ಕಸ ಬೆರಗಾಗಿ ಸೀತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಮಹಾಮರ್ಕಟ ಯಾರು?ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಮುಗ್ಧೆಸೀತೆ!- ನನಗೇನು ಗೊತ್ತು?ಇವನು ಕಾಮರೂಪಿ ರಾಕ್ಷಸನೇ ಇರಬಹುದು -ಎಂದಳು!

"ಮೂಗು ಮುಚ್ಚಿದರೆ ಬಾಯಿ ಬಿಡಲೇ ಬೇಕಲ್ಲವೇ?" ರಾವಣನಿಗೆ ದೂರು ಹೋಯಿತು.ಕಿಂಕರರೆಂಬ ರಕ್ಕಸವೀರರನ್ನು ಕಪಿವೀರನೊಡನೆ ತಾಗಲು ಕಳಿಸಿದ.

ವಿವಿಧ ಆಯುಧಗಳೊಡನೆ ಬಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಾಣುತ್ತಲೇ ಮಹಾಕಾಯ ಮಾರುತಿಯು ಬಾಲವನ್ನೊಮ್ಮೆ ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬಡಿದು ಭೀಕರವಾದ ಸಿಂಹನಾದವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ-

ದಾಸೋsಹಂ ಕೋಸಲೇನ್ದ್ರಸ್ಯ

ರಾಮಸ್ಯಾಕ್ಲಿಷ್ಟಕರ್ಮಣ:|

ಹನುಮಾನ್ ಶತ್ರುಸೈನ್ಯಾನಾಂ ನಿಹನ್ತಾ ಮಾರುತಾತ್ಮಜ:||

"ಕಷ್ಟಕರವಾದ ಕೆಲಸಗಳನ್ನು ಬಹಳ ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಕೋಸಲರಾಜನಾದ ಶ್ರೀರಾಮನ ದಾಸನು ನಾನು.ವಾಯುಪುತ್ರ ಹನುಮಂತನಾದ ನಾನು ಶತ್ರುಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲನ್ನೂ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಧ್ವಂಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ"-ಎಂದು ಆರ್ಭಟಿಸಿ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತುವರಿದ ಕಿಂಕರರೆಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಬಾಗಿಲಿನ ಅಗಳಿಯನ್ನೇ ಕಿತ್ತು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಡೆದು ಕೊಂದು ಹಾಕಿದ.

"The important work has accomplished  "!

Only a few works are remaining to be accomplished  - the work of testing the power and the force of Ravana. 

Hanuman was powerful  - intelligent - and also rational. Hanuman not only found out the place where seetha was being imprisoned, which was the work of a messenger but he also decided to know the depth and width of the efficiency of the foe ( a dangerous work, though Rama did not say to do). So Hanuman decided to complete that work before leaving the territory of Ravana. Hanuman realized that it had to be done through battle and it was the only way to know that !

• Terrorism is the only medicine for the terrorists !

• ( Saamopaaya) The strategy of alliance is not meant for the monsters. 

• ( Daanopaaya )The strategy of giving gifts or compensation doesn't work since the reason of Dandakaaranya. 

• ( Bhedopaaya) The strategy of creating conflicts among them doesn't work since the subjects are too egotists. 

• (Dandopaaya)Hanuman decided that the right strategy would be battling. He made the decision of creating commotion in Ashoka Vana.

Ashoka Vana was dearest to Ravana. Hanuman decided to destroy Ashoka Vana. He destroyed all the regions of the garden including the 'Pramadaa' garden except the region where Seetha was held captive. Ashoka Vana which was mesmerizing and eye catching earlier became ugly.

The garden filled with the cry of birds and animals. 

The monster women were in a shock and startled by the valiant Hanuman.  When they asked Seetha who that great ape was ,the innocent Seetha ! - asked them back how she would know that and further said that he might be a monster who could disguise himself !

" If the nose is closed then the mouth has to open ,right ?"

Raavana received the complaint. He sent the monster soldiers called Kinkaras to attack the monkey soldiers. The gigantic Maaruthi who saw the monsters arriving with many weapons in their hands, smacked his gigantic tail to the ground with force, roared as a lion and cited -

" Daasoham kosalendrasya 

Raamasyaaklishtakarmanaha !

Hanumaan shatrusainyaanaam nihanthaa

Maaruthaathmajaha !!

Which means, 

" I am the servant of ShriRama , the king of Kosala and who is able to do even the most difficult work effortlessly and efficiently. I am, the son of Vaayu, will annihilate the enemy force completely ".

Hanuman pulled and removed the huge bolt of the garden entrance and killed all the Kinkaras who surrounded him with the bolt.
