 ಶ್ರೀರಾಮಾಯನಮ:

ರಾಮಾಯಣದ ಪುಟಗಳು-೮

ರಾಜನ ಇಚ್ಛೆ,ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳ ಬಯಕೆ, ದೈವೇಚ್ಛೆ ಎಲ್ಲಕ್ಕೂ ಮಿಗಿಲಾಗಿ ವಿಧಿಯ ಇಚ್ಛೆ! ಪುತ್ರಕಾಮೇಷ್ಟಿ ಫಲಿಸಿತು.ಸಕಾಲ ಸುಕಾಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದಶರಥನಿಗೆ ಸುಪುತ್ರರು ಜನಿಸಿದರು.ಪುನರ್ವಸು ನಕ್ಷತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೌಸಲ್ಯೆ ರಾಮನಿಗೆ ಜನ್ಮವಿತ್ತಳು.ರಾಮಾವತಾರವಾಯಿತು.ಪುಷ್ಯ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಭರತನು ಕೈಕೇಯಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದನು.ಆಶ್ಲೇಷಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವಳಿಗಳಾದ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣ- ಶತ್ರುಘ್ನರನ್ನು ಸುಮಿತ್ರೆಯು ಹೆತ್ತಳು. ಪುತ್ರೋತ್ಸವಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮಿಗಿಲಾದ ಹಬ್ಬವುಂಟೇ? ಕೋಸಲಕ್ಕೆ ಕೋಸಲವೇ ಸಂಭ್ರಮಿಸಿತು.

ದಿನದಿಂದ ದಿನಕ್ಕೆಂಬಂತೆ ನಾಲ್ವರೂ ಬೆಳೆಯತೊಡಗಿದರು.ಕ್ಷತ್ರಿಯರಿಗೆ ಇರಬೇಕಾದ ಬೇಕಾದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿದ್ಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ವೇದಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲಿತರು.ರಾಮನ ಮೇಲೆ ದಶರಥನಿಗೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಪ್ರೀತಿ.ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣನ ಮೇಲೆ ರಾಮನಿಗೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಒಲವು.ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣ ಅಣ್ಣ ರಾಮನಿಗೆ ಬಲಗೈ ಬಂಟ! ಇದೇ ರೀತಿಯ ಆತ್ಮೀಯತೆ ಭರತ ಶತ್ರುಘ್ನರಲ್ಲಿ.ನಾಲ್ವರು ಸೋದರರೂ ಏಕತೆಯಿಂದ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಒಬ್ಬೊರಿಗೊಬ್ಬರು ಸಹಾಯಕರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ರಾಮನೆಂದರೆ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ.ಅರಮನೆಯಿಂದ ತೊಡಗಿ ಜನಮನೆಯ ತನಕ ರಾಮ ರಾಮ ನಾಮಜಪ!ರಾಮ ಹೇಗಿದ್ದನೆನ್ನುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇರೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಬೇಕೇ?

ದಶರಥ,ಆತನ ರಾಣಿಯರು ಈಗ ಸಂತೃಪ್ತರು.ಕೋಸಲದ ಜನತೆಯೂ ಈಗ ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಿತು.ಸುರಕ್ಷಾ ಭಾವನೆಯು ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿತು.ಭವ್ಯ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ಕನಸು ನನಸಾಗುವುದನ್ನು ಅವರು ಅನುಭವಿಸ ತೊಡಗಿದರು.

'Putrakaameshti' completed successfully as per the wish of the king Dhasharatha, and his subjects. And it is true that the will of the God and the fate is always superior. By the grace of God ,everything happened at the right time the way Dhasharatha had expected. He was blessed with male children . Kausalya gave birth to Rama who was born in  'Punarvasu' Nakshatra. And the day he was born ,called the day of Ramaavathaara. Kaikeyee gave birth to Bharatha in 'Pushya ' Nakshatra. And Sumitre gave birth to twin kids Lakshma and Shatrugna who were born in 'Ashlesha' Nakshatra . Nothing could bring bliss to Dhasharatha than the arrival of these 4 children. The country Kosala was in the state of elation to welcome its future. Kosala celebrated the arrival of new heirs of Dhasharatha. 

The four children grew tremendously day by day with all the good attributes. They received all the education ,learnt Shastras and vedas which kshtriyas must learn. Rama was a divine child and beloved son of Dhasharatha. Lakshmana was very much fond of his brother Rama. There was an unbreakable bonding between thses two brothers. In other words it can be said, that Lakshmana was the right hand of Rama. In the same way ,the same love and affection was there between Bharatha and Shatrugna. The four brothers were so helpful for each other and rapport was established among them. 

Rama was special to everyone. He was loved by the entire Kosala. One could hear the name of Rama which was being chanted everywhere in Kosala which tells us the greatness of Rama and how he was.

Dhasharatha and his Queens were satisfied and leading a happy life.  The subjects of Kosala lived peacefully with the feeling of being protective. They were happy to see their dream of bright future of Kosala turning into reality.
