ರಾಮಾಯಣ ಹಕ್ಕಿನೋಟ-೧೦

ಮಹಾತ್ಮರೆಂದೂ ಸ್ವಾರ್ಥಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.ಮೇಲ್ನೋಟಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ವಹಿತವೆಂದು ಕಂಡರೂ ಅಂತರಾಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ವಹಿತವಡಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ.ಇಲ್ಲೂ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಆಯಿತು.ವಿಶ್ವಾಮಿತ್ರರ ಯಜ್ಞರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಒಂದು ನೆಪ.ರಾಮನಿಗೆ ಗುರುತರವಾದ ಅಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಉಪದೇಶಿಸುವುದು,ನಾಡಿನ, ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳ ಬದುಕನ್ನು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶಗಳೂ ಇದರ ಹಿಂದೆ ಅಡಗಿದ್ದವು.

ತಂದೆ ತಾಯಂದಿರ,ಗುರು ವಸಿಷ್ಠರ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದ ರಾಮ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣರು ವಿಶ್ವಾಮಿತ್ರರನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿದರು.ಶುಭಶಕುನಗಳು ಇವರು ಪ್ರಯಾಣದುದ್ದಕ್ಕೂ ಗೋಚರಿಸಿದವು.ಸರಯೂನದಿಯ ಬಲದಂಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಷ್ಟು ದೂರ ನಡೆದ ಬಳಿಕ ವಿಶ್ವಾಮಿತ್ರರು ರಾಮನಲ್ಲಿ ಶುದ್ಧಾಚಮನ ಮಾಡಲು ಹೇಳಿದರು.ಬಳಿಕ - ಇದೀಗ ನಿನಗೆ ಬಲ-ಅತಿಬಲಾ ಎನ್ನುವ ಎರಡು ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಉಪದೇಶಿಸಲಿರುವ ಹೊತ್ತು.ಈ ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಮಂತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಬೋಧಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.ಇವುಗಳ ಸಿದ್ಧಿಯಿಂದ ನೀನು ಅಜೇಯನಾಗುವೆ,ಅಸಮಾನನಾಗುವೆ,ಸಕಲಜ್ಞಾನಗಳ ಗಣಿಯಾಗುವೆ.ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸು -ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಉಪದೇಶಿಸಿದನು.ತತ್ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲೇ ಅದರ ಪ್ರಭಾವ ರಾಮನಲ್ಲುಂಟಾಗಿ ಮಹಾನ್ ತೇಜಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಬೆಳಗತೊಡಗಿದನು.ಬಳಿಕ ಸರಯೂ ದಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ರಾತ್ರಿಯನ್ನು ದರ್ಭೆಯ ಹಾಸುಗೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುಖವಾಗಿ ಕಳೆದರು.

ಕೌಸಲ್ಯಾ ಸುಪ್ರಜಾ ರಾಮ

ಪೂರ್ವಾ ಸಂಧ್ಯಾ ಪ್ರವರ್ತತೇ|

ಉತ್ತಿಷ್ಠ ನರಶಾರ್ದೂಲ

ಕರ್ತವ್ಯಂ ದೈವಮಾಹ್ನಿಕಮ್||

ದೇಶದೆಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಮೊಳಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಈ ಸುಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಸುಪ್ರಭಾತದ ಶ್ಲೋಕವನ್ನು ಕೇಳದವರಾರು?

"ಕೌಸಲ್ಯೆಯ ಸುಪುತ್ರನೇ ಬೆಳಗಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.ಏಳು.ಆಹ್ನಿಕವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕಿದೆ.ಕರ್ತವ್ಯದ ಕರೆಗೆ ಓಗೊಡು" ತಾಯಿಯು ಮಗುವನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಕರೆಯುವಂತೆ ವಿಶ್ವಾಮಿತ್ರರು ರಾಮ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣರನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿ ಬೆಳಗಿನ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಗಿಸಿ ಮುಂದಿನ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಗಂಗಾಮಾತೆಯ ಒಡಲಿನತ್ತ ನಡೆಯತೊಡಗಿದರು.

The people with great souls or Mahatmas never do anything for their own welfare or with selfish motives. They may look self- centered outwardly but deep down, hides the welfare of the world. Vishwamitra was one of those Mahatmas. There  was good motives behind the reason that he gave to Dhasharatha to send Rama with him. It was just an excuse to introduce Rama to the new world.

Rama and Lakshmana after seeking the blessings of their father, mothers and Guru Vasishta followed Vishwamitra .They could experience the good omens throughout their journey. After walking a little far on the right shores of the river Sarayu, Vishwamitra instructed Rama to do Shudhaachamana which means a rite performed at the beginning of any rituals. Later Vishwamitra told Rama that , it was the right time to teach him the use of heavy artillery. 

So he preached Rama Bala-Atibala and its 

basic Mantras ( moolamantras). While preaching he told Rama ,by learning the Mantra he would become peerless and gain all the wisdom. 

The impact of the Moolamantra was seen in Rama immediately that he was glowing brightly .Then they fell asleep on the bed of Dharbe grass on the bank of the river Sarayu happily. 

 

"Kausalya Supraja Rama

Poorva sandhya pravarthathe 

Uthishta narashardoola 

Karthavyam daivamahinkam" .

(These lines are addressed to Rama, the son of Kausalya.  Vishwamitra wakes him up in the morning and asks him to complete the morning rites and reminds him of his duties to be completed).

There is none in this world who hasn't heard this renowned Shloka. This shloka was cited by Vishwamitra to remind the duties of Rama. Vishwamitra woke Rama and Lakshmana up with a motherly love and affection in the following morning. After completing the morning chores, three of them headed towards the sacred river Ganga.
