ಶ್ರೀರಾಮಾಯಣ ಹಕ್ಕಿನೋಟ -೧೦೧

ಹುಲ್ಲು ಕಡ್ಡಿ ರಾವಣನಿಗೆ ಸೀತೋಪದೇಶ!

(ರಾವಣನನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಿ ಹೇಳುವ ಮಾತುಗಳು)

. ನನ್ನಿಂದ ಮನವನ್ನು ಹಿಂದೆಗೆದು ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಅನುರಕ್ತನಾಗು.

.ಪಾಪಿಷ್ಠನಿಗೆ ಸಿದ್ಧಿಯು ಸಿದ್ಧಿಸದಂತೆ ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ದೊರೆಯತಕ್ಕವಳಲ್ಲ.

.ನಾನು ಶ್ರೀರಾಮನ ಏಕಪತ್ನಿ.ಪತಿವ್ರತೆ.ಅವನು ಪತ್ನಿವ್ರತ.ನನ್ನಾಸೆ ಬಿಡು.

. ಸತ್ಪುರುಷರ ಧರ್ಮವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದು ಸತ್ಪುರುಷರ ಆಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸು.

. ನಿನ್ನ ಪತ್ನಿಯರನ್ನು ನೀನು ಹೇಗೆ ಪರಪುರುಷರಿಂದ ರಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತೀಯೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಪರಪತ್ನಿಯರ ಶೀಲವನ್ನು ನೀನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಬೇಕು.

. ತನ್ನ ಪತ್ನಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ತೃಪ್ತಿ ಹೊಂದದವನನ್ನು ಪರಸತಿಯರೂ ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.

. ವಂಚನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸುಳ್ಳುಗಳಿಂದಲೇ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ನಿನ್ನ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸತ್ಪುರುಷರೇ ಇಲ್ಲವೇನೋ!!

. ಇಂದ್ರಿಯ ನಿಗ್ರಹ ಮಾಡದ ನಿನ್ನಿಂದಲೇ ಲಂಕೆಯ ಸರ್ವನಾಶವಾಗುವುದು.

. ಸೂರ್ಯನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಭೆಯಿರುವಂತೆ ರಾಮನೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಾನು.

. ಪತಿವಿಯೋಗದಿಂದ ದುಃಖಿತಳಾದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಮನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸು,ಅವನ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತನಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸು.

.ಯಮನಿಂದಾದರೂ ನೀನುಳಿಯುವೆ,ಆದರೆ ಕೋಪಗೊಂಡ ರಾಮನಿಂದುಳಿಯಲಾರೆ.

. ನನ್ನ ನರಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಪುರುಷರಿಲ್ಲದ ವೇಳೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕದ್ದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದ ನೀನು ಅಧಮಾಧಮ...

ಇಷ್ಟೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೇಳಿದರೂ ಬೋರ್ಗಲ್ಲ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಳೆ ಸುರಿದಂತೆ ಸೀತೆಯ ಮಾತುಗಳು ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾದವು.ಕೊನೆಗೆ ತನಗೆ ಒಲಿಯಲು ಮತ್ತೆ ಎರಡು ತಿಂಗಳ ಸಮಯವನ್ನು ಸೀತೆಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.ಈ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲೂ ಒಲಿದು ರಾಣಿಯಾಗದಿದ್ದರೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು ಬೇಯಿಸಿ ತಿನ್ನುವೆನೆಂದು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸಿದನು..

ಕಾವಲಿದ್ದ ರಾಕ್ಷಸಿಯರಿಗೆ ಸೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಹೆದರಿಸಲು ಆದೇಶಿಸಿದನು.

ರಾವಣನು ಎಂತಹ ಕಾಮುಕನೆಂದರೆ ಇದೇ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಧಾನ್ಯಮಾಲಿನೀ ಎಂಬ ರಾಕ್ಷಸಿಯು-

ಒಲಿಯದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಒತ್ತಾಯವೇಕೆ? ಒಲಿದು ಬಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸು- ಎಂದು ರಾವಣನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅವನು  ಅವಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆ ಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಏಕಾಂತವನ್ನು ಕಳೆದನು!!

The preaching of Seetha (Seethopadesha)  to Ravana who was considered a hay stick by Seetha.

( Seetha's words of rejection to Ravana).

• Forget the desires you have about me and love your wives.

• I will never be gained by you just as how success will never be gained by a sinner .

• I am the sole wife of ShreeRama, a chaste woman. And Rama is a one woman man ,a chaste man. Give up your evil wishes that you have on me.

• Learn the duties of virtuous people and practice and follow the customs of virtuous people. 

• You must protect the chastity of other women in the same way how you protect your wives from other men.

• The man who doesn't get satisfied by his own wife, will get rejected by even other women.

• I feel, there are no virtuous people in your kingdom which has been built by deception and lies !!

• Lanka will be destroyed by you, who lacks self-restraint .

• I'll always be with Rama just as the brightness which is always there with the sun.

• I have been suffering from the pain of being separated from my husband , take me to him ,bring us together and save yourself by establishing friendship with Rama.

• You might be saved from Yama ,but you will never be spared by the outrageous Rama.

• You are the scum of this earth who had abducted me in the absence of my most superior and mighty men among mankind..."

Though Seetha preached all these to Ravana, nothing changed his mind. Her words went in vain just like rain pouring on a rock. At last he gave her 2 months of time again to accept him. He threatened and warned her that he would slay and consume her if she did not accept him within the given time... He commanded the demons who were guarding her to threaten Seetha even more.

Ravana was such a lecherous man that when a demon named Dhanyamaalini came in the same time and asked him why he had to force someone who was not ready to accept and asked him to accept her who had come to him with love ,Ravana agreed and spent private time with her immediately !!
