ರಾಮಾಯಣ ಹಕ್ಕಿನೋಟ-೩೧

ರಾಮ! ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ರಾಮ ಹೇಗಾದ?

ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ವಗುಣ ಸಂಪನ್ನನಾದ ಪುರುಷೋತ್ತಮನಾಗಿ ಹೇಗೆ ಮೂಡಿಬಂದ?

ವಿಶ್ವಾಮಿತ್ರರು ದಾಶರಥಿಯನ್ನು 'ಕೌಸಲ್ಯಾ ಸುಪ್ರಜಾ ರಾಮ..'ಎಂದು ಮಮತೆಯಿಂದ ಯಾಕೆ ಕರೆದರು?.. ಇಂತಹ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳು ನನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಸಮಯದಿಂದಿದ್ದವು.ಕೌಸಲ್ಯೆಯ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವ, ರಾಮನನ್ನು ವನವಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸುವ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಕೆ ನಡೆದುಕೊಂಡ,ಪಾಲಿಸಿದ ಅಪೂರ್ವ ಮಾತೃ-ಸತಿ ಧರ್ಮಪಾಲನೆಗಳ ಕ್ರಮಗಳು ಈ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಸಮಾಧಾನಗಳನ್ನು ತಂದುಕೊಟ್ಟವು.

ಮೊದಮೊದಲು ತನ್ನ ಅಸಹಾಯಕತೆಗಳನ್ನು( ಸವತಿ ಕೈಕೇಯಿಯಿಂದ ಸದಾ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಿರುವ ಶೋಷಣೆ,ಭರತ ಪಟ್ಟವೇರಿದರೆ ಆಗಬಹುದಾದ ಇನ್ನೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಶೋಷಣೆ,ದಶರಥನಿಂದ ಕಡೆಗಣಿಸುವಿಕೆ,ಮಗ ರಾಮನಿಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ಆಗಬಹುದಾದ ಅಸಹನೀಯ ದು:ಖ....) ರಾಮನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾ 'ನಾನೂ ನಿನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತೇನೆ, ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಪವೇಶ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ..'ಮುಂತಾದ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಂದೆಗೆದು ರಾಮನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಸತಿಧರ್ಮ ಪಾಲನೆಗೆ ಸಂಕಟದಿಂದ ಒಪ್ಪಿದಳು.ತತ್ಕ್ಷಣದಿಂದಲೇ ವನವಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಟ ಮಗ ರಾಮನ ಒಳಿತಿಗಾಗಿ ತಾನು ಮಾಡಬಹುದಾದಂತಹ; ಮಾಡಿಸಬಹುದಾದಂತಹ ಶಾಂತಿ ಹವನವೇ ಮೊದಲಾದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ  ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿದಳು.ಪಟ್ಟಾಭಿಷೇಕದ ಹಿತಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ವನವಾಸದ ಹಿತಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮಾರ್ಪಡಿಸಿ ಮಾತೃಸಹಜ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯನ್ನು ತೋರಿದಳು.ರಾಮನ ಮಾತೂ ರಾಮ ಬಾಣವೂ ಎಂದೆಂದೂ ತಪ್ಪುವಂತಹದ್ದಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಸ್ವತಃ ತಾಯಿಯಾದ ಆಕೆ 'ಹದಿನಾಲ್ಕು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ವನವಾಸದ ಬಳಿಕ ಬಂದು ಪಟ್ಟವೇರಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಆಶೋತ್ತರಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ'ಎನ್ನುವ ಏಕೈಕ 'ಊರುಗೋಲಿ'ನಂತಿರುವ ಮಾತನ್ನು ನಂಬಿ ಅವನ ವನವಾಸದ ಯಶಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಎದೆದುಂಬಿ ಹರಸಿದಳು.ಕೌಸಲ್ಯೆಯ ಅತ್ಯಪೂರ್ವ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ಆಕೆ ರಾಮನಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಮಂಗಳಕರವಾದ ಶುಭಾಶಂಸನೆಗಳೇ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ!ಶುಭಾಶಂಸನೆ ಎಂದರೆ ಧನಾತ್ಮಕ ಅಂಶಗಳನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಆಶಯಗಳೇ! ಆದರೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಆಕೆ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಶುಭಾಶಂಸನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಶುಭ ಶಕ್ತಿಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಪುತ್ರ ರಾಮನಿಗೆ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯೊದಗಲಿ, ಶುಭವಾಗಲಿ ಎಂದಿರುವುದು ಆಕೆಯ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛ ಮನದ ಪ್ರತೀಕವಾಗಿದೆ.....

How Rama had become the 'Kalyana Rama'? How he had emerged in this world as an ideal man with all the virtues and good attributes ? Why did Vishwamitra call him 'Kausalya Supraja Rama ' fondly ? Anyone would have come up with these questions while reading about Rama. The personality of Kausalya, the way she handled her mind and soul during the time of Rama's exile and the way she performed her duty as a mother to Rama and as a wife to Dhasharatha, answer all the above asked questions. 

Initially she lamented and expressed her helplessness ( by thinking about how she had been dominated by Kaikeyee, she was scared that she would be dominated even more after the coronation of Bharatha and weapt imagining her life without Rama) to Rama and  adamantly told Rama that she would go along with Rama or else she would perform fast until her death. But after hearing the words of Rama, she made up her mind and with heavy heart decided to perform her duty being the wife of Dhasharatha. Shanti Havana and many other rituals were performed in her initiation and some rituals were performed by herself for the welfare of her dear son who was about to leave for Dandakaaranya.  She sported her motherly love by performing the religious rituals for his exile which was arranged for the coronation ceremony.  The words and the arrow of Rama would never ever be broken or would go in vain. So she blessed Rama whole heartedly and firmly believed in his words that he would ascend the throne after 14 years of his exile and accomplish her wishes and dreams . The auspicious and prosperous rituals that she had performed for the well being and welfare of Rama is the testimony for her extraordinary and uncommon personality. 

There was positive intentions behind every rituals she had performed for him and she prayed that Rama should even be protected by the negative energies, which reflects the pure soul of Kausalya.
