ರಾಮಾಯಣ ಹಕ್ಕಿನೋಟ-೨೪

ಭರತ ಶತ್ರುಘ್ನರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಡದಿಯರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಭರತನ ಸೋದರಮಾವನಾದ ಯುಧಾಜಿತನಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋದರು.ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಯುಧಾಜಿತನ ಪುತ್ರರ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಮಾನ.ಇತ್ತ ಅಯೋಧ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಮ ತಂದೆ ದಶರಥನಿಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯಭಾರವನ್ನು ನಿಭಾಯಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲಗೈಯಂತೆ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು. ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣ ರಾಮನಿಗೆ ಬಲಗೈ.ಶ್ರೀರಾಮನಂತಹ ಶ್ರೀರಾಮನನ್ನು ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದ್ದು ಒಬ್ಬನನ್ನೇ!

ಕ್ಷಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭೂದೇವಿಗೆ, ಬುದ್ಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೃಹಸ್ಪತಿಗೆ, ಶೌರ್ಯ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದ್ರನಿಗೆ ಸಮಾನನಾದ ರಾಮ,ರವಿವಂಶದ ರಾಮ ರವಿಯಂತೆಯೇ ಬೆಳಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ನು.ಅವರಿವರೆನ್ನದೆ ಕೋಸಲದ ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಅಯೋಧ್ಯೆಯ ಎಲ್ಲರ ಕಣ್ಮಣಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದನು.

ಸಹಜವಾಗಿಯೇ ದಶರಥನು ರಾಮನನ್ನು ಯುವರಾಜನನ್ನಾಗಿಸಲು ಬಯಸಿ ಸಚಿವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಚರ್ಚಿಸಿ ಮಗನಿಗೆ ಯುವರಾಜ ಪಟ್ಟ ಕಟ್ಟಲು ನಿಶ್ಚಯಿಸಿದನು.ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳನ್ನು, ರಾಜರುಗಳನ್ನು,ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಮುಖರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕರೆದು ತನ್ನ ನಿರ್ಧಾರವನ್ನು ಘೋಷಿಸಿದನು. ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಸಂತಸದಿಂದ ಸಹಮತ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.ದಶರಥನ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡುವಾಗ ರಾಜಪ್ರಭುತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವವಿದೆಯೇ ಎಂಬ ಅಚ್ಚರಿಯುಂಟಾಗುತ್ತದೆ!

ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ ಸಮ್ಮತಿ ಪಡೆದ ಬಳಿಕ ದಶರಥನು ವಸಿಷ್ಠ- ವಾಮದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಪಟ್ಟಾಭಿಷೇಕಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿದ್ಧತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದನು.ಅವರಿಬ್ಬರೂ ಸಚಿವರುಗಳನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಿಸಿ ಪಟ್ಟಾಭಿಷೇಕಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾದ ರಾಜತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ, ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ, ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ... ಮುಂತಾದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ತಯಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಶೀಘ್ರವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲು ಹೇಳಿದರು.ಸಚಿವರುಗಳು ಹೊಸ ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ಪಟ್ಟಾಭಿಷೇಕದ ಯಶಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಸರ್ವ ತಯಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡ ತೊಡಗಿದರು.ಒಂದೇ ಮಾತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳುವುದಾದರೆ ಅಯೋಧ್ಯೆಗೆ ಅಯೋಧ್ಯೆಯೇ ಸಿದ್ಧತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿತು.

Bharatha and Shatrugna went to their maternal uncle Yudhajitha along with their wives Maandavi and Shruthakeerthi. Yudhajitha was so fond of Bharatha and Shatrugna that they were treated as his own sons there. On the other hand, Rama was assisting his father Dhasharatha as his right hand in managing the affairs of the state Ayodhya. If Rama was the right hand of Dhasharatha then Lakshmana was the right hand of Rama. ShriRama was the finest creation of Lord Brahma, there was none like ShriRama. He was unmatched and incomparable. He resembled the mother earth in his forbearance, resembled Bruhaspathi in wisdom and he was equivalent to Indra in valor and audacity. Rama ,who hails from the clan of the Sun was illuminating just like the bright sun. He was precious and the dearest to all the inhabitants of Kosala especially to the habitants of Ayodhya. 

Naturally, being the father Dhasharatha wished to crown Rama the young prince of Ayodhya and discussed the same with his ministers and came to the decision. Soon after taking the decision, Dhasharatha asked his subjects ,kings and representatives of the people to gather and announced his decision of crowning Rama the Prince. His decision rejoiced everyone gathered there and they all concurred with the decision of the king. 

It's truly commendable that Dhasharatha followed Republican way of governance though it was completely a Monarchy. After taking the consent and opinion of his people, Dhasharatha asked Vasishta and Vaamadeva to arrange everything for the Coronation ceremony of Rama. Vasishta and Vaamadeva instructed the ministers to arrange the things required for the ceremony such as diplomacy , religious , cultural  arrangements and so on and so forth immediately. The ministers got busy in the preparation of the coronation with new enthusiasm.  In other words the whole Ayodhya involved in the process of preparation for the coronation ceremony of their beloved ShriRama.
